Chapter Twenty Five - Righting wrongs

Dan, Blair and I were teaming up on the mission for different reasons. Dan redeeming to help out his friend that we were told never actually kissed him. Blair to help out one of who best friends who was hurt by a out of town crazy bitch and Moi the hope that I get to MMA someone for information there by venting my pent-up anger on a actual face. Maybe I should have just gone to Nate instead sometimes his face just talks me into punching him. But Oh well here we were the three of us walking to the Ostroff Centre to talk to Serena.

"So Juliet dressed up like Serena at Saints and Sinners to destroy her relationships with Rosie, Nate and I." Dan started

"And enlist Vanessa and Jenny to mess with me." Blair continued

"Which is devious and pathetic but around here it's just another Saturday night." I shrug taking a sip of my coffee.

"Well you can't show up at a masked ball and not expect at least one doppelgänger to try and impersonate you." Blair replied

"Cause that worked out so well the last time, right Blair." I retort

"I apologised for that okay, are you ever not gonna be mad at me for everything." She huffed

"I forgave you but once in a while these things need dusting off and throwing in your face just to prove a point. Anyway back on topic." I breathe

"According to Jenny, Juliet posted a photo of herself as Serena doing coke." Dan continued on.

"And for that she will be judged by a higher power. But we've..."

"Seen worse." Dan cut Blair off

"Actually, we've done worse." I tapped my fiancee's arm "but yes." we all take a sip

"Okay, but then Serena wakes up in a motel room after almost OD'ing."

"Yes and that where the Juliet express goes off the rails and heads straight for crazy town. choo, choo." I mime the pulling chain

"The next thing we know Serena wakes up, insist she didn't go on a bender ." Dan added

"But then the photo shows up online and she starts to doubt herself and checks herself into the Ostroff. Which brings us to the present."

"The thing we need to figure out is why? I mean Colin, Nate, Hamilton house. None of that explains taking this so far." Dan made a good point but I figured part of that out already.

"Well as two people well aquatinted with the darker side of human emotions. Blair and I know that there is only one motive powerful enough to fuel a gas lighting like this and that is good old fashion retribution."

"Retribution for what?" Dan wondered and we headed into the Centre. We headed up to the front desk and they not us no visitors.

"What do you mean no visitors?" Blair questioned condescendingly "I don't you think you realise who we are."

"Blair, knock it off." I tell her "Is is like a family only thing because I'm her sister, sort of I never fully realised how complicated this family really is."

"I'll just call her I'm sure we're on her list."

"There is no list." We heard Eric. He came down the stairs "Her phone is locked away in a drawer somewhere." we moved away from the desk

"Look Serena's doctor recommended she start her treatment with 72 hours no contact. That includes me, my Mom and you guys."

"Serena doesn't need to be here . Juliet was behind everything." Dan explained

"And we have some questions for her." Blair added

"Whatever series of events got her through the door, she's here now. She's getting the help she's probably needed for a long time."

"He does make a good point." I agreed

"Whatever you're up to you need to do it without Serena.." Eric finished

"Okay come on, let's go." I say and we leave heading back to our place . The three of us walked into my office .

"We can't do nothing for three days. Who know's how far Juliet could get?" Blair vented

"I think we gotta call in my Dad and Lily. What Juliet did with those pills is against the law." Dan suggested

"Police and parents. Of course that's your plan Humphrey." Blair retorted "We could sneak in to see Serena. That receptionist got a good luck at me but maybe a wig. You still have your collection right Rosie?"

"Yeah." I say laying across the couch on my stomach

"That's your plan disguises and accents." Dan retorted

"I never said accents, can you do any?"

"No, look Eric is right. We need to leave Serena out of this and find Juliet on our own."

"Colin is her cousin, I'm sure I could track him down at whatever summit he's dragged his lame ass to this week." I suggested

"Nate, dated her." Dan added

"And my minions knew her a whole year before we showed up."

"Or. There is someone who seems to know everything about everyone." Dan thought out loud

"Beside the two women in this room, who?" Blair retorted Dan glanced down

"Gossip Girl. She's not a Ouija board, Humphrey. You can't just ask where's just where Juliet and expect her to point you in the direction."

"Maybe you can." I shrug "Think about it. We are her people, not Juliet. Serena could have been hurt and I'm sure she's furious that she sent in that fake photo."

"Does she even know it's fake?" Dan asked. I got up and opened my e-mail and sent in a the tip in and asked for our help.
