Lilith smirked at Clary. Clary's chest loosened.

"Yes she is." Lilith said without emotion. She never showed human emotions unless it was towards Sebastian.

Sebastian was grinning. He was happy that he had another shot to have his own child, Clary saw with surprise. He didn't know how to love but the look on his face seemed loving.

Lilith disappeared leaving a sickly cloud of dust.

Sebastian came towards Clary and pulled her into a gentle embrace. Clary was not expecting this.

She had expected him to be angry at her for stabbing him,not joyful.

Clary suspiciously returned his embrace. "Why aren't you mad at me?" Clary asked curiously.

Sebastian pulled back enough for her to see the wicked look on his face.

Clary knew that look meant he had planned something bad.

"I know you were lying to me yesterday. You weren't sure if you were pregnant. You are going to be punished."

Clary felt numb"How?" She managed to choke out.

His smirk returned"You'll see." He turned and walked out of the room leaving Clary standing in the middle of the room her heart heavy with regret.

***

Clary was staring at the ceiling. Sebastian was sleeping peacefully next to her.

She gently got out of bed and went to the bathroom. She looked at her reflection. Her once bright hair was now a dull red. She looked pale and sickly.

There was dark circles under her eyes from sleepless nights. Clary saw her reflection frown.

Clary saw Sebastian's reflection come up behind her. He rapped his arms around her and looked at her with amusement.

"Admiring yourself? You look beautiful,my queen." He said.

Clary rolled her eyes and turned to look at him."I know your lying, I look pale and sickly."

Sebastian shrugged and pulled her in for a long kiss. Clary wondered if it ever bothered him that they were siblings. Probably not.

His lips were warm as if he was running a fever. Clary still felt the icy shock of wrongness.

Clary tried to pull back but Sebastian just pulled her closer.

"I really don't know when you'll learn Clary." His voice was cold and sharp.

Clary felt the burning of a stele on her shoulder. The last thing she saw was Sebastian's cold cruel smile.
