Jonathan's Victory

Chapter 11

Sebastian's eyes widened. Clary,still gripping the sword,stood in horror. Sebastian narrowed his eyes.

She hadn't meant to stab him she just did the first thing she could think of, which just so happened to be stabbing him.

Sebastian pulled out the sword with a look of betrayal on his face. Blood pored from the wound on his chest.

He took a step towards her. He took another step.

He collapsed as he moved to take a third step. Clary carefully knelt down by his side.

She gently pulled his shirt over his head. Clary saw with a look of disappointment that the wound was already healing. Sebastian seemed to be gaining strength,he was now able to prop himself up on one elbow.

Clary started to back up. It hadn't worked. Well at least she didn't try that when the others were still here.

"You little bitch." Sebastian said, blood coming out of the corner of his mouth.

"Well if you hadn't been hitting me I wouldn't of tried to kill you." Clary said finally finding her voice.

"You are going to pay for that." Sebastian hiss at her. Jocelyn was right. Even though Clary was he only person he cared about, she couldn't change him.

Clary needed to get out of this."I'm pregnant." She blurted out.

It wasn't exactly a lie. She thrown up yesterday morning but that could have been because of James.

Sebastian's angered expression softened but he still looked angry.
"You were going to try to kill me while carrying my child?" He said shouting at her.

Clary just stared at him. She didn't know how to answer.

Sebastian was now fully sitting up. Clary backed up more and tried to look innocent but she knew her hatred for him was still showing in her eyes.

Sebastian carefully stood up. He winced in pain as he touched his wound. Anger flared in his eyes.

He turned to look at her"Tomorrow we are going to make sure with Lilith, but for tonight you going to get into bed, no arguments." His eyes challenged her to disagree.

Clary went over to the bed and crawled under the covers.

Sebastian got into bed and put his head close to Clary's"You had better hope your pregnant." He pulled her close to him. She could feel his eyes on her in the dark.

Clary shivered.
