18 years later.

Clary looked at her daughter with worry. She had known this day was coming since before Seraphina was born but she still felt sadness.

Seraphina had a determined look on her face. She was more powerful than any Shadowhunter alive, even her father.

Clary didn't want them to go to her home but she knew it was inevitable. Sebastian had decided long ago.

"I love you." Clary said as she hugged her daughter one last time.

"I love you, too." Sera said smiling. She was excited to see the world. She didn't much care about the killing, she was still her father's daughter.

Sebastian walked in the room still looking more like Seraphina's brother than father.

Clary hadn't aged either. She still looked sixteen.

Clary thought about her and Jace's son James whom she had never gotten to raise. He would fight against his half sister. And so would Jace.

Asmodeus appeared, ready to make a portal for Seraphina.

Sebastian and her appeared to have finished a conversation that Clary hadn't heard, no doubt a pep talk.

Seraphina walked into the portal without looking back. Clary let a single tear fall.

  The End

Authors Note: Should I make a sequal but about Seraphina and James? Or did this suck enough?
