After another few days of tirelessly training and wondering what the hell is going to happen to me and my stupid dumb quirk, I find myself sitting in the middle of the Midoriyas' living room floor, a small infant lying in my lap and a phone pressed between my ear and my shoulder.

"Yes he ate, yes he burped, and no he's not napping. He's sleeping like a log" I tell Ochaco for what feels like the millionth time.

"I know, I know I'm sorry... I just..." she hesitates, sounding just as nervous as ever.

"Don't worry, mama bear! We've all got it covered. If the six of us can't take care of a baby, what good are we?" Mina demands loudly, leaning over the couch. My eyes immediately widen, darting down to look at baby Hiroki. His tiny face scrunches for a second, making my entire body tense. Fuck, fuck, fuck... when he relaxes, I do too, immediately shooting Mina a glare. She shrugs.

"Did he wake up?" Ochaco demands and I sigh, shaking my head.

"No. Now seriously, go enjoy your weekend with your husband. We've got this" I insist. When Deku first called me, I was a little hesitant, but after about two seconds of me fumbling for the words to say, I was assured a thousand times that I wouldn't be alone. Turns out, Ochaco was really worried about leaving Hiroki with anyone for their anniversary so Deku came up with the idea that all of us should have some weird kind of babysitting sleepover at their place for the weekend. I guess it made sense to Ochaco because here we are now, the six of us taking shifts with one of the cutest babies I've ever seen.

"Okay, okay... but you'll call at bedtime?" she demands and I can't help but smile.

"Yes mom. Now go" I repeat. Once Ochaco finally hangs up, I smile down at the tiny human lying a bit on his side and hugging himself to my leg. I never thought I'd like kids so much, but a few hours with this little guy and I'm starting to think I should babysit more often. The sound of a camera clicking makes me stiffen and sit up, eyes wide on the phone in Toru's invisible hands.

"What did you just do?" I demand and she shrugs, the fabric of her shirt rising to indicate the action.

"You should see the look on your face. It's so sweet" she gushes, but all I can think about is some mushy picture winding up on the internet of me and a baby. Next thing I know I'll never hear the end about having kids.

"Toru..." I begin, a warning note in my voice.

"Just look" she interrupts and my phone buzzes soon after, a photo of me popping up in seconds. My face flushes as I stare at it, wondering what the hell the look on my face is for. In the photo, my eyes and mouth look so soft and gentle, my posture completely relaxed...

"Delete it" I command, but she cradles her phone to her chest protectively.

"It's too late. You've been caught" she tells me and I make a face. If I didn't have a sleeping baby on my lap, I'd definitely wreck her shit.

"What's wrong with a picture? Isn't it good that you like the kid?" Kyoka asks, raising an eyebrow at me from the couch across from us. I narrow my gaze at her, irritated. It's not the kid I'm worried about.

"You don't understand..."

"Please, then. Enlighten us" Mina says, taking a seat on her own couch and smirking at me knowingly. I glare at her. It's almost no fair that she's Katsuki's best friend's other half. By default, she knows pretty much everything that either goes on with me and Katsuki or everything that's going to bother me when it comes to Katsuki. It's annoying.
