Otis was sitting quietly next to Adam as they slowly made their was back to Otis's house.
It was an awkward silence, he could tell Adam had questions and was just waiting to ask them, he was happy he was holding back though.
Otis doesn't want to think about anything that just happened.
Soon enough they were pulling into his driveway, Otis was about to get out before his arm was grabbed.
"Wait." Adam said suddenly, Otis froze and looked over at him. "Are you available tomorrow?" He asked. "I want to talk about what happened tonight." He said in almost a stern tone with a concerned manner.
"I guess." Otis responded with a frowned. "Good, I'll pick you up at 1, we'll go out to lunch." Adam said softly.
Otis quickly made his way out of the car and headed inside, being careful not to wake his mom. Usually when sneaking back inside, he would go through the window but he didn't think that would be possible with his shaky state.
He quietly made his way up the stairs and into his room, as soon as he could he collapsed into his bed.
Tears started streaming down his face again, leaving him gasping for air. He felt so sick, he felt like he was about to throw up.
He couldn't believe what happened.
Otis closed his eyes and tried to block out everything that happened, he needed sleep, he felt weak.
Thankfully Otis was able to fall asleep pretty quickly, he was exhausted after what went on.
And soon enough the sun finally rose.
Otis woke up at 10, he's head was pounding and his throat felt dry. He had an awful hangover. He slowly made his way over to his medication cabinet, grabbed some painkillers and swallowed them dry.
Otis just sighed, he felt disgusting, he felt dirty. It's like he could still feel Luke's hands on him, he could still taste his lips, that made him almost vomit.
He made the decision to get in the shower, maybe he could scrub away that feeling, he could get rid of the dirtiness that lingered all over him.
He stripped his clothes, and stepped into the shower turning the temperature as high as it would go. It almost instantly turned his skin red but that's what Otis wanted.
He stood in that shower for an hour, just scrubbing his skin, the feeling wasn't washing off. He felt like he was about to get sick again. He felt disoriented and a dizziness clouded his being.
Otis just let out a sigh, he gave up. He crumpled into a ball on the floor of the shower. Feeling the warmth of the burning water hit his back, as he just sat there almost felt comforting.
He sat there as the burning droplets pelted onto his shoulders, his whole being blanketed by the warmth that shower provided.
After an hour in the shower of just scrubbing, to the point his skin was bright red Otis decided it was enough. He was tired and didn't think he could stand much longer.
He brushed his teeth in the shower as well so that was handled at least.
Be slowly stepped out of the shower, grabbing the towel he sat out and wrapped it around his waist as he made his way over to his clothes.
He chose a simple shirt with sweat pants, not bothering to put effort into his appearance in any other way.
He was still tired. He almost debated if he should just go back to bed, but the dryness he still felt in his throat paired with the headache made him choose otherwise.
He made his way down stairs, into the kitchen. He swiftly grabbed a glass out of the cabinet, being careful to not make too much noise so he wouldn't wake his mom.
He moved over to the sink and filled his cup, quickly bringing it up to his lips and washing away the dryness that settled in the back of his throat.
He just stood there, taking small sips of his water. He stared at the floor trying to figure out what to do next. He really didn't think he was ready to talk to Adam, but he didn't think he really had a choice if he wanted to keep the friendship they had.
Otis just let out a quiet sigh, he knew there was nothing he could do about this.
"Fuck this. Fuck everything." he spat out. He was starting to get annoyed, angry even. He was so sick and tired of not having control of the situation he's in.It wasn't fair, this whole fucking situation wasn't fucking fair. He didn't deserve any of this.
He didn't deserved to be forced to go to that stupid fucking party, he didn't deserve to still feel Luke's hand on him, he didn't deserved to have to talk about it, he didn't deserves to have to fucking deal with this.
This is complete bullshit. Otis was just about to give the fuck up again, He didn't know how to deal with this.
Otis just tried to breath, he needed to calm down and that was the only way he knew how. He stood in the kitchen for another 10 minutes before he made his way back to his bedroom.
He needed to check his phone, and also to make sure he was ready for when Adam came to pick him up. He knew from past experiences that he would probably be a little earlier then expected.
The one time Otis asked why he was always so early, Adam just laughed at it, telling him that he just had a fear of being late. He was a lot different from Otis in that, Otis was almost always late for everything.
God, Otis did not want to have to talk to Adam about what happened, maybe he should come up with a plan. A explanation to what happened without telling him the truth. Hopefully it would be something that made him look less pathetic, although he didn't know if that was possible.
The humiliating moment of bumping into a friend you've only known for three months, at a random party, with tears streaming down your cheeks, while having a panic attack was like nothing else.
No matter what story Otis came up with he would still look pathetic, but it could still be better than how embarrassing the truth is.
To be honest, Otis felt scared and embarrassed, he didn't understand what happened.
Things like that doesn't happen to boys, That's a girls problem! Was it something that Otis did wrong? did he give Luke the wrong idea? It had to be his fault, right?
He didn't understand what he did to give Luke that idea, he just acted how he normally did. He even asked him to stop? Did he not understand what he meant?
He fucking asked him to stop, how did he not understand? How could someone not understand?
And that evil fucking smile, that smile won't leave his head, it was like it was burned into his memories.
That smile told him all he needed to know. Luke knew what he was doing, he knew Otis wanted him to stop, he knew.
"Why would he do that?" Otis whispered in a broken tone. "Why would you let him do that?" Otis asked next.
Otis just couldn't fathom why this would happen. Why would the world let this happen?
What had he done that was so damn bad that the world hated that much?
Otis had a lot of questions, and none of them would be answered for long time. All he knew was that world was a cruel place, full of evil people.
Otis felt so lost in this moment, but he didn't have long to think about it. Adam would be here anytime and Otis did not want to appear as a total fucking mess when he got here.
