Chapter Fifteen:
Giyu leaned on (Y/N) for support, his heart heavy with concern for her well-being, he couldn't shake the feeling of guilt gnawing at him.
With each step they took towards his healing quarters, he tried his best not to burden her further, yet he couldn't help but feel like he was adding to her troubles.
Giyu's mind was a whirlwind of emotions as he observed (Y/N) beside him, her usually bright eyes dulled with a weight he couldn't quite decipher.
He remembered the moment when she had gazed into the water with such a distant look before slowly sinking down, and a pang of sorrow tugged at his heart.
He had a hunch about what might be weighing on (Y/N)'s mind at that very moment, and the thought only intensified his concern for her well-being.
Despite his own struggles and battles, Giyu couldn't bear to see (Y/N) suffering in silence, her burdens hidden behind a facade of strength.
"Are you okay? Feeling any better?" He asked. Giyu's concern deepened as he watched (Y/N) shake her head at his question.
"Totally fine over here." her smile not quite reaching her eyes.
He knew better than to push her further, accepting her reassurance with a nod, though he couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss.
As (Y/N)'s tone shifted into a playful yet stern one, "Okay, big guy. Take a seat." Giyu raised an eyebrow in mild surprise but obediently complied with her orders.
He grumbled under his breath as he settled into one of the chairs, feeling a sense of vulnerability wash over him as he awaited whatever (Y/N) had in store for him.
(Y/N) rounded the room in search of a towel, her movements purposeful yet gentle. When she finally found one, she turned to Giyu with a determined expression, her eyes sparkling with determination.
"Turn around and sit still," she commanded, her voice carrying an air of authority that brooked no argument.
As (Y/N) rubbed the towel against Giyu's wet hair, he couldn't help but feel a mix of embarrassment and gratitude. "What are you doing?" he asked, his voice betraying a hint of curiosity.
(Y/N) chuckled softly as she continued to dry his hair. "I'm making sure you don't catch a cold," she replied, her tone gentle yet firm.
Giyu shifted uncomfortably in his seat, unused to being taken care of in such a manner. "I can handle it myself," he protested weakly, but his heart wasn't fully in it.
