Chapter Ten:
As (Y/N) walked up the path to her home, memories of the joyful moments she had shared with Kyojuro and their children filled her mind.
The estate was a place that held countless cherished memories, and the weight of those memories made her steps heavier.
She paused for a moment, lost in thought as she remembered Kyojuro's laughter echoing through the gardens, the sound of her children's joyful giggles, and the warmth of their family bond.
The images were bittersweet, a reminder of what she had lost.
With a heavy heart, (Y/N) shook her head as if trying to shake off the memories that threatened to overwhelm her.
She muttered to herself, her voice tinged with both longing and frustration, "Jewel and Vivian are being silly. They think I could just push aside everything I felt for Kyojuro and move on with someone else."
As she reached the front of the house, (Y/N) sighed and leaned against the doorframe, her gaze fixed on the familiar surroundings.
She mumbled again, almost as if trying to convince herself, "I don't see Giyu that way. He's just someone I'm helping to recover. I can't let myself get attached."
But even as she spoke those words, (Y/N) couldn't deny the connection she felt with Giyu.
His presence had brought a small spark of light into her life again, and she found herself looking forward to their interactions.
She appreciated his strength, his determination, and the moments of genuine understanding they shared.
With a sense of familiarity and comfort, (Y/N) stepped inside her home and closed the door behind her.
The sounds of Kijuro and Hinoko's playful bickering filled the air, and a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. It was a sound that she had missed dearly, a reminder of the lively and spirited nature of her children.
(Y/N) couldn't help but smile as she observed the scene before her.
Kijuro and Hinoko were deeply engrossed in their argument about the board game, their voices animated and passionate. It was a sight that brought a sense of normalcy and joy to her heart.
She approached the living room with a soft chuckle, stepping into the midst of their discussion. "What's all the commotion about?" she asked, feigning a stern expression.
Both Kijuro and Hinoko immediately turned their attention to her, their expressions shifting from competitiveness to pure delight.
