"I cannot believe we actually spent time planning this." You muttered, brushing the back of your hand against the fabric of your clothing. Once you were satisfied with removing the non existant specks off your semi-fancy get up you turned around to Rui-Jane who was looking at the little gazebo made by you and Uzi out of metal scraps.

"Well," she stood back up to her height, no longer leaning over to look at the shining mini-gazebo. It looked like it was for a doll house but just big enough for everyone of normal height to see in.

It was cute and attention grabbing, shining and made out of metal, painted with layers of white and little purple random designs of Uzi's choosing along with paper lillies and roses surrounding it.

You found it amusing at how it almost sat proudly on the dining table.

"It was actually kind of fun, right? But I can't believe the crickets are getting married before either of us do.."

"Its kinda sad..."

"No, it is sad."

Rui-Jane cleared her throat, her hands smoothening the long skirt of her green dress. "Anyways. I'll go get the Bluetooth speaker and my dates, along with the bride- you go fetch yours and the groom." She gave your instructions, waving a finger at you as she sauntered over to the entrance and exit of your guys' shared home.

"Got it." You responded, moving to follow the long haired girl as she exited.

"Meet you back here in a few." Rui-Jane gave you a farewell, and you both parted ways, going different ways down the halls.

Entering the pod dramatically, you did a spin and held a hand upwards, another positioned on your chest as you sang out,

"Oh dearest love of mine, I've come to retrieve you and the groom!~"

V, who was chilling and hanging from the ceiling of pod upside down looked at the groom who chilled in her hands as she held it carefully,

"You hear that? Looks like someones gonna get hitched here very soon." V spoke to the cricket, his little antenna twitched, his small thin legs tapping against her fingers.

You smiled as your date dropped down from above, landing on her feet in a crouched position before standing properly.

"At least we don't have to worry about wedding jitters, lover boy here is excited." The drone explained, tossing the cricket up and then catching it. You gave V a unamused look and took the groom from V's hold,

"Ru told you to be careful doing that- he isn't a coin for a cointoss." You scolded lightly, feeling at the little robotic bug dance on your palm. You and V looked to the side hearing something, "What is it?.." you asked

"Swalla la la la..." V finished the lyrics with a amused smile, a hand on her hip. Both you and the drone tuned out the music the cricket danced to and decided to get going to the wedding.

"Uhh, and what's this?" You questioned with a hand on your hip.

"Ah, you zesty little..yeah." Rui-Jane trailed off and rolled her orange eyes. The same orange color that matched the little lights her cricket glowed with.

"Lizzy and Thad heard me, N and Uzi talking about it and asked if they could come. They were bored."

"Care to explain the other 20 people in our home?" A hand motioned to the crowd in your home. Thankfully it wasn't over crowded, there were just many drones filling any available seat your home had to offer. Some others stood.

"Yeahh..our classmates were just bored too I guess, Lizzy invited them..." Rui-Jane looked at your half lidded eyes, then laughed and added on to her statement, "after I gave her permission, lol"

"Who says that out loud. That's very 2020's of you." You rolled your eyes and held up Rui-Jane's beloved Cricky, and as soon as the two saw eachother different sounds of excitement came from both.

"I'll take this handsome guy to the gazebo," Rui-Jane smiled as the bug crawled from your hand to her own, "the brides waiting for you in the back!"

"Oh my gosh- look at the bride."

Your cricket looked no different from Cricky. Just the lights were of your favorite color, and the tiniest of viels she wore. Uzi is to thank for that accessory.

Little mechanical squeaks came from the robotic insect making you grin. For being a simple robo-cricket it had a lot of personality, and quickly jumped off the bedside table and went to you.

Cherry the cricket happily danced in your hands, and with a excited skip in your step you exited your room and pressed the play button on the remote in your pocket.

That began the wedding music, the stereotypical tune you'd hear if it was a movie wedding.

"That's the que, idiots! Quiet down!" V yelled at the crowd of worker drones. All of whom which immediately zipped their lip, including Lizzy who gave V a bored look from her spot within that crowd who sat around the gazebo.

Rui-Jane stood to the right, besides the groom cricket as a best man, Uzi who was one of her dates joined here there as best man #2

"I can't believe this is all happening for two robotic bugs." Uzi muttered, watching as everyone turned to you as you enter the scene with a big grin on your face.

Standing from their seat, many removed their helmets and you almost went blind and snorted-

You ate shit, falling over, and screeching as your hit the floor with a thump and a...small little crunch.

Everyone froze hearing the crunch, the sound followed by little glitching twitch sounds.

"CHERRY OH NOOOOO!" You screamed, scrambling up onto your knees and picking up your squished cricket from the floor. The poor bug twitched, mini sparks flying from the small robotic corpse,

Little panicked squeaking noises came from the gazebo, N who was a bridesmaid along with V, turned to the poor panicking insect and watched as it ran around in circles before falling over.
