" Barrister Thompson, do you have any more evidence to proof that your client here, Fabian marshall is free of all charges against him??? ", The judge asked, the frequency of her tone rising loud and clear in the courtroom.

At the very dire minute, she was made to hand over all of her evidence, a new lawyer was appointed and she was made the judge, to pronounce the final sentence.

Fabian is ready to do anything to break her.
He knows she can't possibly let go of those evidences like that, when it means her husband might be implicated.

And truly, he predicted her well.

" Yes my Lord, so far as I know, my opponent here, Barrister Gerald hasn't been able to prove my client guilty. All evidences aren't worthwhile.", The so called Barrister Thompson said.

Arianna's gaze lingered to Fabian's face, where her eyes caught a malicious smirk on his lips.

That grand urge to smack his face.

She gulped, tore her eyes away.

" Barrister Gerald?", She called,

" All acquired evidences has been submitted to the court of law, my Lord", he replied.

She gulped hard hard again, this is for the best.
For everyone.

" Then I shall pronounce the final sentence ", she said, Fabian's smirk grew more bigger.

As long as Richard will be fine, then she will be fine as well, right??
She's doing the right thing.

" Fabian Marshall, charged with bribery and corruption, extortion of taxes, murder, kidnapping, woman and child trafficking on 5th of may 2023, considering all evidences brought up to the court, ............", She paused the next word hanging in her throat.

Why did she stop halfway?

Her demeanor may seem all calm and reserved, but deep down she is melting.

She gulped," considering all evidences brought up to the court, Mr Fabian Marshall here is.....", The door barged loudly attracting everybody's attention.

Arianna heart did a flip flop as she took her gaze up, her heart start to beat fast.

What is he doing here?
She promised to take care of everything, why did he still come?

Murmurings start to fill the court, everyone talking if that really was him

" Gbam gbam gbam ", she knocked the hammer on her desk thrice.

" Silence please ", she yelled,.

The court went quiet immediately.

" Have your seat Mr Rodriguez, a court session is going on ", she said , praying vehemently in her heart.
Hoping he will just listen to her and go ahead and sit his ass down.

" I am not here to witness the session my Lord, I am here for another thing", he replied..

Arianna grip tightened, why is he acting like this?
She knows she cause all of this, but will giving her a chance to change it cost him anything?

" Which is?", She asked almost in a whispery voice.

Her brain knew, but her heart isn't ready to accept it.

" To clear everything , I have a very good evidence that proof s Fabian here as guilty of all charges", he announced in a high-pitched voice.

Arianna's eyes shut disappointed, everything is going down the drain for sure.
