Sonic x Amy

First meeting- Sonic CD (classic Sonamy) (Art done by ajaysr)

Second meeting- Sonic CD- backstory for Sonic Adventure (Modern Sonamy)

Third meeting- Sonic Boom (Boom Sonamy)

Sonic and Amy first met in Sonic CD. She was kidnapped by Metal Sonic and Sonic ended up resecuring her. Since then, she has had a huge crush on Sonic. Time skipped and we reached Sonic Adventure 1 where Amy still has the same backstory, but the only difference is that she is in a new design and is 12 years old. Throughout the whole Modern years of Amy, the only trait that has been present in most games is her massive crush on Sonic. (Sonic Forces and Sonic Frontiers finally gave her a character again). Sonic has run away from her due to this. Amy gets overjealous when another female talks to Sonic or forces herself onto him. Sonic Boom is wired considering I'm not quite sure if they are taking the same backstory for Amy but here, we are. In the games and the Tv show, it is implied that they both have feelings for each other, but they don't know how to express them.

Things I like about this ship/dislike.

-The only version of this ship I don't like is the Modern version of Sonamy. It's getting a little bit better but for the most part, Amy is way too open with her feelings to Sonic, she doesn't give him the space he needs, she gets overjealous if another female talks to Sonic, forces hugs onto him and doesn't know when enough is enough.

-In the classic version and Boom version, both versions seem to hint at their relationship. In the Sonic mania Adventures, it seems that Amy gives Sonic a flower before she leaves after helping Metal Sonic while Boom version shows Mutiple times where Sonic gets Jealous that Amy is hanging out with other guys that isn't him or their friend group.

-Despite me not liking the Modern version of this ship, there are some moments where Amy shows her kindness for Sonic.

-I've got nothing else to say about this ship. But it doesn't matter if I don't like the Modern version of this ship, the fanart is still so cute.

Classic Sonamy gets an 8.5/10.

Modern Sonamy gets a 5.5/10.

Boom Sonamy gets a 9/10.
