Rouge x Topaz

First meeting- Sonic X

Rouge and Topaz first meet in the Sonic X episode "Fly Spy". Rouge explored an abandoned factory and found a small shiny object, after which bright lights spot at the bat, revealing G.U.N. soldiers surrounding her. As Topaz prepared to handcuff her, Rouge complements her toughness and calls her an old lady (in the original Japanese, Rouge asks if the agent is into "hard play"). The other soldiers laugh, and Topaz tells the commander to cease. The commander recognizes Rouge as the jewel thief from the previous night. Rouge, Topaz, and the commander were then seen at the President's office. Rouge asks Topaz for a cup of coffee, with the soldier reluctant at first but obeyed when her commander ordered her to do so. The President offered Rouge a special agent position at G.U.N. in exchange for freedom. Rouge and Topaz continue to work together until Rouge returns to her world in the season 2 episode "Running out of time".

Things I like about this ship/dislike.

-They are both Partners in Sonic X. Rouge, being the flirty and mocking of the two while Topaz takes her job seriously but sees the good in others.

-It was cute that Rouge "gave" (more liked stole) Topaz a present for her before leaving back to her own world. It shows that at the end of the day, Rouge was glad to have met Topaz and wanted nothing more than to see her one last time. (also, Topaz already gave her a present, so Rouge must repay her somehow).

-I've got nothing else to say, the ship is cute, and I love it.

This ship gets an 8/10.
