First meeting- Sonic Adventure 2

Knuckles and Rouge first meet in Sonic Adventure 2. They were both fighting over the master emerald when Eggman showed up. Knuckles broke the master emerald in pieces so it wouldn't be used by Eggman, however Rouge wasn't happy about this, and they both decided to find the shards on their own. They fought each other on their next meeting. Following the battle, Rouge fell, and Knuckles saved her. Rouge got angry, claiming Knuckles only saved her to hold her hand, which Knuckles denied. She then ends up giving the shards to Knuckles. The two later teamed up with Sonic, Tails, Eggman, Amy and later Shadow to save the Space Colony ARK from falling into the Earth. After saving the Earth, Knuckles and Rouge have a friendly conversation on the ARK before heading back to Earth with everyone else. After this game, it seems that Rouge is always trying to get the master emerald from Knuckles which makes me believe she loves to flirt with Knuckles.

Things I like about this ship/dislike. 

-It is heavily implied that Knuckles might return some romantic feelings for Rouge as seen multiple times in Sonic X. Rouge is always flirting with him and Knuckles seems to (mostly) tolerate. However, this is the only time I think Rouge flirting with Knuckles works since it does get annoying everywhere else.

-Speaking of flirting actions, I believe that Rouge doesn't really give Knuckles the respect he deserves. She only flirts with him to either get a reaction out of him or to steal the master emerald which is Knuckles responsibility to look after.

-Rouge and Knuckles don't really have enough moments in the games to completely understand their relationship. Are they friends, are they rivals, I don't know because they haven't had enough time together to understand. (I think they are friends).

This ship gets a 7/10.
