Sonic x Knuckles

First meeting- Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (classic Sonknux) (art up top by mivtsi)

Second meeting- Sonic Adventure 1- taking backstory from STH3 (Modern Sonknux)

Third meeting- Sonic Boom (Boom Sonknux)

Sonic and Knuckles first meet in STH3. Knuckles was tricked by Dr Eggman and believed that Sonic (along with Tails) were after the chaos emeralds. However once Knuckles finds out that he was tricked. He and Sonic came to have a more friendly relationship. Despite this, Knuckles still held an inhospitable attitude towards Sonic, due to their different points of view and natures. In Sonic Adventure 1 and onwards throughout the Modern versions of themselves, not only are they good friends but also very good rivals. In Sonic Boom, it seems that they have a very close bond with each other.

Things I like about this ship/dislike.

-It seems that Sonic frontiers was the gayest that these two were ever going to get. I mean, what's with the smirks and poses they make. Plus, Knuckles was very open to Sonic.

-The classic version of this ship hasn't really had enough screen time to fully understand these two. Thier friends but what else is there.

-Again, it's the rivals to lovers trope. What's there to not love here.

-Sonic's cooky attitude and Knuckles being all hot-headed makes for some funny moments between these two. Look at Sonic X, that show made these two.

-The boom version of this ship is very Gay. I mean they are always together.

Classic Sonknux gets a 6.5/10.

Modern Sonknux gets an 8.5/10.

Boom Sonknux gets a 7/10.
