First meeting- Sonic Adventure 2 (modern Sonadow)

Second meeting- Sonic Boom (Boom Sonadow)

Sonic and Shadow first meet in Sonic Adventure 2 where they both started off as enemies. Throughout the entire whole story of Sonic Adventure 2, they do nothing but fight until the final part where they must stop the ark falling down to earth. Even though Shadow dies at the end, he returns to the series, becoming Sonic's main rival. It's not quite clear how Sonic and Shadow met but in the Sonic Boom series, they are nothing but rivals. There may be very few rare times the two will work together but for the most part, they are always fighting each other.

Things I like about this ship/dislike.

- It seems these two would fit the rivals to lover's trope. It makes sense since they are rivals.

-Sonic really does care and help Shadow as seen multiple times throughout the series. (Shadow seems to somewhat feel the same). He's sad that Shadow died in SA2, he was surprised that he was alive in Sonic heroes, ended up helping him in Shadow the Hedgehog, was able to get away from Silver thanks to his help. (you understand what I'm getting at).

-I don't know about you guys, but Sonic Prime made these two feel Gay. All the Bridal carrying, Sonic hugging Shadow and the way they care for each other.

-I can see Sonic being the one to help Shadow remember Maria in a nicer way. Sonic really cares for his friends.

-I prefer the Modern version of this ship. Boom Version doesn't give these two enough heartwarming moments to make them seem shippable.

Modern Sonadow gets an 8.5/10.

Boom Sonadow gets a 4/10.
