Sonic and Blaze first meet in Sonic Rush. She accidentally went into his world trying to recover the Sol Emeralds and defeating Eggman Nega in the progress. At first, she didn't want Sonic's help, thinking she could do everything on her own, but after having a fight with Sonic, she realizes that she needs to trust others and believe in her friends. Once the two Eggman's team up, Sonic and Blaze go super to stop them, once defeating both of them, their dimensions return to normal and the two shake hands, promising to meet again. Since then, the two have become really close friends.
Things I like about this ship/dislike
-As I said, they work well after Sonic Rush. Rarely do they ever fight after this.
-Blaze is quieter while Sonic is a very ongoing person. Makes for some nice fanart or stories where Sonic tries to help Blaze interact with others more.
-Sonic feels so comfortable talking to Blaze and doesn't feel pressured in the slightest.
-Blaze would be the only female to be able to keep up with Sonic and wouldn't slow him down.
-The only thing I really don't like about this ship is that the Sonic Rush games were the only times they were in for the whole game. Other spin-off games don't count. (please I love this ship)
