Silver x Blaze

First Meeting- Sonic the Hedgehog 06

Silver and Blaze were friends in Sonic 06, knowing each other from the start. They worked together trying to find the cause of Iblis. After learning from Mephiles that Sonic was the Iblis trigger they both split up to find him. Turns out that Sonic wasn't the Iblis trigger and they both needed a way to stop Iblis once and for all. Silver and Blaze enter the Flame Core to interrupt Iblis' resurrection. Upon his defeat, Silver tries to use the Chaos Emerald ritual to seal Iblis within himself but is unable to. Blaze takes his place using her own fiery soul, and successfully absorbs Iblis and they both disappear. With both Blaze and Iblis gone, Silver watches alone as the skies return to blue and the world begins to heal. However, since Sonic 06 never happened, the two meet in Sonic colours DS where the two become friends there.

Things I like about this ship/dislike.

-This ship feels weird since Blaze sees Silver as a brother rather than a crush or love interest. Throughout the whole game of Sonic 06, Blaze is always calling Silver "Naive" and seems to give advice or supports him in a sibling kind of way. (Still cute fanart)

-I like the fact that the two seem to understand each other very well and can work well together.

-Even though they work well together, it doesn't change the fact that Blaze and Silver would never have the same bond they had in Sonic 06 since they lost their memories. Games like the Sonic and Mario Olympics games show these two together having that very same bond. (makes me believe they still have that same bond just like sonic 06).

-Much like Sonally, I used to dislike this ship since I saw it everywhere at the time. I don't love it. It's fine.

This ship gets a 6.5/10.
