Espio x Silver

First meeting- Sonic Rivals 2/IDW comics

Since the only interaction Silver and Espio have in the games is Sonic Rivals 2, I thought I'd talk about their interaction in that game before talking about the IDW comics.

when Espio got a meeting mission to find evidence that Silver was behind the kidnapping of Chao. Espio treated Silver as an enemy at first, but Espio started to doubt the mission as Silver did not seem like a bad guy. When Espio found out Silver was trying to save the world, he followed his instinct and joined Silver in his mission. The two went on an adventure together and built a good relationship during it and stopped Eggman Nega.

In the IDW comics, it seems that Espio is there to help Silver with his problems. Silver tells Espio about the responsibilities he has of protecting the future and the uncertainty of why he was summoned to the past. Upon witnessing Silver's existential crisis, Espio calms him down by asserting the importance of not letting fear of the unknown consume oneself. Espio then advises Silver to have faith in his friends, reminding him that he and the others have his back.

Things I like about this ship/dislike.

-Even though Silver and Espio haven't had many interactions with each other, I can see them being best friends, since Silver and Espio are quite people and would enjoy each other's company.

-I have really got nothing else to say about this apart from two things, this ship is so cute, and I wished we had more of these two together.

This ship gets a 7.5/10.
