CHAPTER 20

LISA POV

“What about a dessert baby?"

"Oh yes mommy can I have a chocolate mousse please.."

"Of course my love."

It was a Sunday like I love it just me and my little love, we cooked and ate our lunch and after we will take a nap because this little monster wake up super early.

I heard a knock and made my way to the door who it can be?

Tell that I was choked was an underestimate. Jennie was standing in my door.

Why is she here? She seemed nervous, I stayed still not saying a word until she brook the silence.

"Hello Lisa." I didn't respond.

"How are you." She said again.

Is she serious? Asking me how am I. I decided to close the door but she stopped it with hers foot. I don't want her here and more less talk to her but I couldn't refuse when she almost pleaded to let her in.

Liam was eating his dessert with his face full of chocolate. I saw how Jennie was looking at him with eyes full of love like he was the most precious person in the world for her.

After cleaned my little guy made her way to Jennie.

"Hello Ma'am."

Jennie chuckled my little is so cute. I stayed back enjoying their little discussion until Liam told Jennie about his middle name. Jennie looked at me with so much emotion that I diverted my eyes.

I sent Liam to the room so I can hear what Jennie has to say. She began asking me how I am again and continued by talking about Liam but I cut her off.

I felt that she was nervous and maybe not know how to start but I don't have time to lose so I told her to go straight to the point.

"Yes... actually I don't know how to say it... I.. I am here to apologise." Jennie said lowering her eyes.

"About what exactly."

"Everything, all the thing I have done or said to you 5 years ago."

"Why? I mean why now?" I asked.

"I found out that the photos were fake, I accused you and I am so sorry for not trusted you back then."

Seriously she finally found out that's why she is here.

"It was Irene who did it, the man who she paid for create the photos and video came to me and admit everything."

"Oh it’s was her!" I said softly and sat on the edge of the couch. I knew that she loves Jennie but I didn't imagine she can do something like that. She came near me and said.

"I am so ashamed of myself Lisa. I fell on her trap so easily please forgive me.."

'Yeah you trusted everyone expect me, your own wife. That just proved that you didn't love me enough because if you did that wouldn't happen. Despite our marriage you always considered me in your inner like a whore who is with you for your money.’ I thought in my mind.

"Yes you have been an easy target... but it's ok it's the past." I simply replied.

"That's mean you forgive me." She said taking my hands.

I felt emotion I thought I won't never feel again, when hers hands was on mine and I didn't like it so I retired my hands away and stood up.

"Yes of course." I said with a small smile. I was surprised to feel her arms around me hugging me.

"Thank you so much Lisa, you made me the happiest woman alive I promise I will do everything to make up for lost time for you and our son."

I couldn't return her hug no after all she said and did she felt my discomfort and backed away looking at me.

"Sssay something Lisa... You forgive me right."

Forgive her I don't know if I can do it someday but now I just want her to leave it's too much for me to handle.

"Well I forget about this drama but that doesn't mean I want to do something with you." I said coldly.

"How... what do you mean?" She whispered.

"I think I am very clear but I am going to say it again STAY AWAY FROM US!!"

"Bbbut..."

"There is no but Miss Kim, you heard me right. So if you can leave now." I said.

I saw the hurt and after that the anger in Jennie eyes.

"Don't call me like that... like I am some stranger." She said raising her voice.

"Low your voice, my son will hear you!!!" I replied

Who does she think? She is coming in my house after so many years and yells at me and play hurt by my words. This woman is incredible.

Jennie lifted her hand in surrender knowing she crossed the line.

"Ok ok I am sorry but..."

Ok that's enough...

"Listen, the only reason I let you in is because I don't want to make a scene, you waste my time enough. I listened to you now I am asking you to go and never come here again."

"No No No I am not going anywhere, I want to be a part of your and our son life."

"Are you kidding me?"

She walked to me trying to reach my hands but I took a step back.

"Don't come near me, and for what you said you lost the right to be in our lives 5 years ago so just leave us alone."

"Please Lisa, please I know I fucked up but give me one more chance just one please."

She is really speaking about chance? Does she give me chance back then?

"No Jennie, I won't give you anything."

She started crying and seemed so fragile but I don't care.

"At least can I visit my son?"

"Oh, he is your son now?"

How she dares. Claiming MY SON as her when she was the one calling Liam a bastard.

She lowered hers head and pleaded, "Lisa please.."

I was about to tell her to get lost when Liam called me.

"I am coming baby.." I looked at Jennie and said.

"Leave and close the door behind you." Walking to the room leaving her behind.

Once in the room I went to my son and hugged him tightly.

"Sleep my baby, sleep."

"Are you okay mommy?" My son is so smart.

"Yes my love I am fine everything is fine."

I made sure he was sleeping when I closed my eyes and let my tears flow freely on my cheeks.
