CHAPTER 15

JENNIE POV

"Yes Darren, I need it as soon as possible.."

"Ok ma’am I will finish this file and it will be on your desk before the end of the day.."

"Thanks Darren." I replied and hung up.

I was working on this file for months now and the deadline is close so I stayed late at night this last days to finish it.

My office phone rang.

"Yes Mina.."

"Ma’am, there is a man here who wants to see you."

"Does he have an appointment.." I asked.

"No Ma’am."

"So I can't meet him, I am too busy Mina."

"I told him that already but he insists.."

"Find a way to send him back.." I said wanting to hung up when Mina spoke again.

"He said it's... It's about your ex-wife ma’am."

I stopped what I was doing for some seconds Lisa what about her my subconscious said.

"I don't care." I snapped angrily.

But I heard the man shout, "It's very important Ms Kim just listen to me 2 minutes."

I sighed and replied, "Ok Mina sends him in."

I was leaned on my chair waiting and when I saw him I couldn't remember from where I know this man.

"Hello Miss Kim.." he began.

"Hello take a seat please." I said pointing to the chair in front of me.

"It's like you don't recognize me." He asked.

"I know we met before but I can't remember precisely but if you can say what you are here for because I don't have time." I narrowed.

"Yes I am Jack... " He stopped for a moment and said.

"Do you remember the photo and video about your ex-wife?"

Instantly I clenched my fists to calm my anger and glared to him.

"Why do you speak about this now?" I snapped.

"Because you have to know the truth."

"What are you talking about?" I said getting up from my chair and walking towards him with hands in my pant's pocket. He stood up as well and now we are facing each other.

"Yeah I remember you. You are the one who checked the photos... What truth?" I asked again.

"Well.... How can I say it...this photos and the video were all fake."

"Fake? What are you saying?  How...?"

"Yes I know it is because I was the one who made them."

I felt all my blood drained from my body and the office started turned around me. I couldn't talk for a while just looking at him.

"If it's a joke I advise you to just stop it Mr Jack." I said with a low voice.

He didn't speak and stared at me like he was searching his words and I felt all my anger growing inside me ready to explode.

"You said... you said the photos were real and now the opposite?!" I said.
