CHAPTER 3

LISA POV

"Why do you have to go to the office today.." I asked Jennie.

"Baby, you know there is a lot of work currently so I have to be there.."

"But rest at least today you came back just last night."

Jennie had just taken a shower and got out of the bathroom with a towel around her waist and I can't help just looking at her intensely. Jennie smirked completely aware of hers effect on me.

"I promise when the deal will be done I am going to take some days off and we will stay together all the time.." She said.

"Promise?"

"Yes I promise, but now leave this bed lazy worm so we can eat breakfast together.."

"No I want to sleep I am still tired.."

"Of course you are with the four rounds I gave you last night.."

"Shut up!!" I said so embarrassed that I hide under the sheets.

She lashed out a throat laugh "Oh honey still shy you are so cute."

I got out of bed and threw a pillow at Jennie.

"Hey what was that for?!" She yelled.

"Cocky.." I said running to the bathroom.

We prepared and reached to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Good morning Jess." We greeted.

"Good morning my children."

"What do you prepare today that smell so good." I asked her.

"We have waffles, sausage and omelette."

"Oh great I am so hungry."

"I see that." Jennie said looking at me while I jumped on the food.

After eating Jennie went to her office. I felt so tired so I thought to come back to my bed to sleep a little more. Before I asked Jessica to prepare the lunch for Jennie and I. I intend to visit her at lunchtime so we can spend some time together.

"Jess, could you please prepare the lunch for Jennie, me and an extra for her PA I will visit her at work?"

"Of course sweetie.."

"Thank you Jess you are the best." I said kissing her cheek and made my way to my lovely bed.

I parked my car in front of the company and entered to the building. The guards greeted me and I made a sign to the receptionist who smiled to me. I know almost all the employees here.

Once in the elevator I pushed the button for the 40th and last floor where is Jennie's office.

I found Mina hers PA at her desk with a large smile as usual. I like her she is a charming person and very competent according to Jennie.

"Hello Mrs Kim it's always nice to see you.."

"Hello Mina, here your lunch I hope you like meatballs?"

"Yes thank you Mrs Kim." She smiled at me.

"I said you to call me Lisa, drop the formalities Mina."

"Ok I will try, Ms Kim is inside with Miss Irene."

"Ok thank you Mina." I said rolling my eyes to Irene presence.

I knocked before stepping in. I am her wife but I respect her workspace.

"Hi my love, what a surprise.." Jennie said coming towards me.

"Hey babe, I hope I don't disturb you.." I asked.

"No, I needed a break." She said giving me a soft kiss and staying near me.

"Good afternoon Irene." I greeted her

"Hello Lisa how are you it's been a while."

"Fine and you?" Asking just out of politeness.

"Good thanks, I see you bring lunch for Jennie."

"Yes, I have to feed her or she is not going to eat." I said making her to pull me to hers chest and kissing my head.

"In this case I will go, bye Lisa see you later Jennie." Irene said.

'See you later Jennie' I mimicked her once she had her back turned. Jennie saw me and smiled.

"Lili, are you jealous by chance.."

"Me!!" Pointed my finger to my chest.

"No at all why I would be jealous of her she is just your best friend right?” I asked.

"Yeah so if you know that why do you behave like this.."

"Like what exactly?"

"You are cold and you force yourself to talk to her it's obvious."

"I don't like the way she spoke to you or look at you and she is always in your office!" I responded with a irritated tone.

"Well we work together so it's totally normal and how she looks at me?" She asked clearly appreciating the discussion.

"Like a predator."

Jennie laughed and hugged my waist from behind.

"Oh babe I love you and I love you moooooore when you are jealous."

"It's not funny." I turned to face her and slapped her lightly on the shoulder.

Jennie is right I don't like her at all. I know she is her best friend from childhood and their family are very close too but I think she expect more than friendship from Jennie. I saw her looks and behaviour ant that made me suspicious towards her.

"Let's eat it will be cold." I said.

"Yeah I am starving and I missed home-cooked meals."

"I know honey."

We chatted and laughed during the lunch and I was glad nobody disturb us, I should thank Mina for that. I have to go and let Jennie works so she can came back home early this evening I thought. I was about to get up off the couch when she grabbed my wrist make me falling on her lap.

"Where do you think you are going Mrs Kim." She said humming my neck and letting kisses.

"I thought you want to return to work.." I moaned.

"Hmm but before I need a little thing love."

With that we ended making out in the couch. We were almost lost when she backed off and rested her head on my shoulder.

"We have to stop here babe or I will not be able to restrain myself."

"Yeah, I guess we are going to wait to this night." I teased.

I arranged my clothes and left Jennie office. Once at home I took a fresh shower and looking forward to her return.
