LISA POV

I finally finished the anniversary I organised and rushed to take a cab. My son was with his Dada, when Jennie knew that I will work on Sunday she proposed to take care of him. They have a good relationship I am a little surprised because I expected Liam to be maybe uncomfortable with the situation but everything was alright he reacted well when we told him. It was at his grandparent's house. We talked about it a lot with Jennie it took almost two months for me to agree with that. In the end I came to the conclusion that I can't let Liam like that not knowing who his dada is.

We thought it will be better to give him the news surrounded by family. So his grandparent's proposed to organize a dinner. Jisoo and Kai were with us too.

Liam quickly made the connection when he heard Jennie call his grandparent's by Dad and Mum, it was like we just confirmed his doubts. It was a very emotional moment mostly for Jennie and his parents who were waiting for this day to come.

I talked with my son after that to be sure if he was okay and answer at his questions but what he said surprised me.

"You know mummy I had a doubt about Dada from the beginning because she has the same eyes as me and you always said to me that I have my dada eyes."

I looked at him proudly. Sometimes we under think our children thinking they are fragile and can't support changes but the reality is that we the adult are more weak and scared than them.

Anyway I am glad that everything is ok for my son.

The cab stopped in front of Jennie's house once I stepped out of the car and stood in front of the front door I felt nervous. My heart started to beat faster and my hand became sweaty. I let out a huge breath and knocked.

"Lisa, sweetie." Jessica said and hugged me tightly, I hugged her back.

"Hello, Jess.."

"Let me look at you my daughter." Jessica added looking at me with teary eyes.

"I missed you.."

"I missed you to Jess.." I replied and it was true I always loved her like a mother.

"Oh where are my manners, come inside honey." She said.

I looked inside the house and all the memories came back especially the bad ones.

"No thank you Jess, but I prefer to stay here. May you call Liam for me?" I said after a moment.

"You won't stay on the doorstep come in."

"Please Jessica, I am good here just call him please."

She looked at me certainly understanding why I am reticent. She nodded and walked away.

I stood there looking at the place where Jennie pushed me, where she slapped me, where she humiliated me and I couldn't stop the tears to fall. It was like I made a leap in time everything was still fresh in my mind. Every word, every gesture, and every hurtful looks everything.

I was so absent that I didn't see or hear Jennie and Liam coming. I regained my spirit when I felt someone pull on my trousers. I quickly wiped my cheeks and stared at my son with a smile.

"Hey my love, I missed you so so much." I said picking him in my arms and kissing him all over his face. He giggled while Jennie was looking at us in silence. I turned my face to her.

"Thank you for looking after him today.."

"Don't need to thank me he is my son too.." Jennie replied with a soft smile but I can say at hers voice that she is sad or maybe upset.

"We will take our leave now, Liam baby bring your coat and bag please."

He was about to go when Jennie held his hand and spoke.

"Wait I thought maybe... we... we can have dinner together."

I looked at her for a minute.

"Thank you for the offer but we have to go." I said sternly.

"Please Lisa, just a dinner and I will accompany you after that. Jessica already prepared everything."

The nerves of this woman I can't believe it. So she expected that I will stay at the same table as her under the roof of my so called old house and eat peacefully like everything was normal in the world. Stupid idiot arrogant woman! She was lucky Liam was here or I would rip hers hair out to that jerk. I faked a calm tone and said.

"Sorry, but I am going to refuse."

"But..." She was about to speak again when I gave her a hard look, eying Liam. Jennie understood and stopped her blabbering.

"Go my baby.." I said to Liam again and he run around to bring his stuffs Jessica walked after him leaving me with Jennie still on the doorstep.

"Why you refused Lisa, I hoped to spend more time with you and Liam."

"You spent all the day with him already so don't be greedy and for me as you asked me 5 years ago I won't step in YOUR house ever again."

Jennie came near me trying to reach my arm but I stepped back.

"Look Jennie don't misunderstand the fact that I let you be closer to my son for a sign of encouragement ok? Because nothing will happen between us.."

She stared at me with sadness and a moment after that was replaced by anger. She put hers hands in her pants pockets and said in arrogant way.

"It's because of your so called boyfriend's.."

"Rather because of you I must say, if you didn't throw me like a trash maybe I would be the one making dinner here so don't blame anyone for your faults especially Taehyung. Because even if I have to be alone for the rest of my life I prefer that than to be with you again." I replied with a cold voice. A battle started by our looks at each other, no one of us wanting to look down.

Liam came back with Jessica. I took his little hand in mine and turned towards Jessica.

"Thank you Jess and I hope you can share a cup of tea soon, you are welcome at my house anytime."

"Of course I will come.." She replied with a wide smile.

"It's ok then, I am waiting for your call." I hugged her.

Liam did the same and was about to give his dada a goodbye kiss when Jennie carried him in hers strong arms and said looking at me.

"I will give you a ride."

"No thanks, we will take a taxi."

"Don't be too stubborn Lisa." She said with exasperation.

"Oh please Mommy let's go with dada, her car is so cooool." Liam pleaded.

Jennie made a side smile clearly enjoying the comment. I glared at her.

"Ok let's see that cool car then." I sighed.

"Yeaah thank you Mommy you are the best."

"Yes she is." Jennie added.

I shook my head at their behaviour and secretly smiled.
