Chap 19 - Protection

Angel Dust POV

As soon as Husk leaves, I find myself back in the casino working all around, on each floor. Either cleaning or taking care of customers, I'm always busy.

It's not until a few hours after Husk left that I pass the main entrance to take a small break. I grab some drink menus while I'm there and as soon as I'm about to leave I see a familiar sight of the Princess and her angel girlfriend.

What surprises me the most is to see all of them right there. Niffty runs circles around Sir Pentious and I head over to them.

"Hey Angel! I was looking for you!" Charlie comes over to me, excitement flooding her features like always.

I smile at her innocence, "I'm busy right now. What are you doing here anyway? What does it have to do with me?"

Charlie's so ecstatic that Vaggie chuckles before answering for her girlfriend, "We rented a party spot so we could do an exercise."

My brows furrow in confusion but I just say, "Okay, I'll be with you in a moment." I give my best smile and then head over to a casino table that is through an archway.

I'm much aware of the crew watching me so I tone it down from what I usually do, even though they can't completely see me.

"Excuse me, gentlemen, would any of you care for a drink?" I ask in a seductive voice that easily captures their interest.

I take their orders before heading over to the dealer. "I got you a drink." She takes it gratefully and I peer at her cards. She's definitely beating them, but I wink at one of the demons.

That one demon puts in all his money and the others are desperate for my attention and go all in as well. I say my farewell to the dealer and the players before heading to the group standing in one of the main windows staring out.

"Alright, I can take you guys up now. I have to make a quick pit stop though." Charlie nods enthusiastically and I lead them up through the elevator before leaving them in front of the workers door for a few moments.

I look around inside the lounge to see a few people in there, "someone take table Four Spade, for me? I have to help a few people."

Emery comes over and takes the sheet from me. "I got you. Take care of your friends."

I give him a thankful smile, "Great, those idiots are spending all their money."

Emery doesn't fail to laugh at the situation, "Of course, glad to know you're using your charms."

I give him a wink and he laughs. I follow him out of the lounge and we bid each other quick goodbyes before we part.

"Alright come on." I lead the group up to the party area which is a terrace, one of the more expensive private areas.

"Thanks, Angel. This is great!" Charlie looks around in awe.

I shrug, "You're the one that paid for the terrace."

Charlie grabs a whiteboard and starts writing nonsense on it when I hear the door creak open. I straighten from my leaning position as Husk walks onto the terrace. He gives me a nod and I walk over to him.
