A/N:     Hello! I just want to say that all of the things that I write aren't necessarily based on facts. I look up a few things so it's not completely out of wack, but it will be different from what some of you might know. Enjoy this chapter that is much shorter than the last one!

Husk POV

I feel like I got hit by a bus.

My eyes flicker open to see white fur and at first I'm confused. I think back to last night and remember. Immediately, the first thing I check is his head for where the bandage was last night.

The bandages look fine so I just leave it. I'll fix it later. The next thing I think about is how Angel has his arms wrapped around me. I'm not really able to move, and if I could, Angel would wake up so there's no point.

I take a look at my phone that's sitting on my bedside table. Holy shit! It's ten-thirty!

I should be up by now but something keeps me from getting up and away from Angel's warmth. I see messages from some people but I ignore them. I snuggle deeper into the covers, bringing Angel with me.

I inspect his face, my finger passing every feature I look at. When he's not trying to be fake or force a smile, I realize just how pretty Angel Dust is. I'm not gonna deny it; He's pretty.

My finger goes to his lips and I sigh. What is wrong with me?

I continue to stare at his full lips and I hum. I run my hands through his hair to try and get my mind away from his lips. I rest my chin on top of his head.

I'm about to fall back asleep when I hear his groggy voice.

"I didn't think you were the type of cat to purr." A small, breathy laugh escapes him and my face heats up. I hadn't realized I'd started purring. "No, don't stop- I'm sorry, it's cute!"

"You're crazy." I barely get out, my voice is strained from whatever I was doing last night.

He chuckles and I smile into his fur.

"I love your laugh." I freeze and so does he. I didn't mean to say that out loud.

"Uhm-"

"I did not mean to say that out loud!" I say quickly.

He laughs his wonderful laugh again and my face flushes even more. Thank the lords above he can't see my face right now.

He looks up. Nevermind. I stare into his eyes. They're bright and colorful when he's genuinely happy.

"Stop," I say.

He tilts his head to the side and let me just say... that is the cutest thing I have ever seen. "What do you mean?"

I look away from him and groan, "Why do you have to do this to me?"

He smiles and tugs me closer, "I dunno." I bring the end of my tail to Angel's back.

We stay like that for a while.

My phone goes off and Angel and I sigh collectively. I reach behind him to grab my phone.

"Who is it?" Angel asks, his voice muffled as he speaks into my fur.

I sigh as I read the name.

Sera.

"No one important." He hums and I mess with the hair on the back of his head "Come on. Let's get up. It's already eleven." He groans before rolling off the bed and onto the floor.

I grab his arm as he falls so at least he doesn't bump his head. "Hell, you could've just gotten up." I grumble and he chuckles.

He stands up, taking a stretch. I throw off the covers before getting up too. I hurry to my closet to change and Angel tilts his head to the side. I find a nice outfit that is also comfortable.
