Chap 30 - Calm Before the Storm

Angel Dust POV

I turn away from Husk at Cherri's squeal. Just in time do I see Racki and Via getting out of a car and walk over. Via waves and Racki puts his hands in his pockets, surveying the area.

As they get closer, Via says, "what a nice place! Geez, Racki, you really need an upgrade."

"More like someone needs to clean up- it looks like someone threw up rainbows everywhere." Arackniss mumbles to himself.

"You never change do you?" I say and Arackniss just smirks.

"Anthony! So good to see you again, bro!" I roll my eyes while Via and Cherri glare at him.

"I wish I could say the same. Also, don't call me 'bro' ever again." I raise an eyebrow and he just mocks me.

Cherri punches Arackniss in the face, "I don't know why you're here, dumbass."

"First of all- ow, second of all; I'm here to help. You obviously need it." He sneers.

Via casually tenticals him in the balls and says, "We're here because we don't want you to have all the fun killing angels without us!"

"Haha! Fuck yeah, gurl!" Cherri and Octavia high five, "so good to have yah!"

Arackniss groans in pain before flipping me off for no reason whatsoever. I raise a brow at him and he just rolls his eyes.

"Heya! I'm Charlie- it's so good to be meeting more of Angel's friends! I never thought I'd meet so many of you!" The familiar voice of our hostess, Charlie, comes over to us.

Arackniss looks her up and down, "It's nice to meet you, sweet cheeks. You doin' anything tonight?" My low level mistake of a brother flirts, although I know he's just doing it to piss me off. He holds out a hand and bows to her. Charlie coos on how sweet he is and laughs him off.

Vaggie comes over and growls at him, "she's mine."

Via chuckles in amusement, "possessive much?" She turns to me, "it's alright if we join ya though, right?"

I look at Charlie and she squeals in delight and nods excitedly, "of course, of course! We need all the demons we can get!"

Charlie starts talking her head off and Via gives me a worried look. I just smirk and grab her hand. "I'm gonna work with these two."

"Oh, wait! We need introductions!" Charlie interrupts me, her voice automatically brings people over. I sigh inwardly as Alastor, Husk, Rosie, Pentious, Niffty, the short King, and some cannibals come over.

"Al, Rosie, Husk, Sir Pentious, Niffty, Dad, this is- um... what are your names again?" Charlie laughs awkwardly.

Racki rolls his eyes and Via gladly introduces herself, "Hi! I'm Octavia, this is Arackniss, and we're here to help! I also have my family here with us." She mumbles the last part mostly to me.

"You brought your family!?" Charlie squeals.

"Really?" I ask. Via nods.

"Yeah, they wanted to come 'cause dad said, and I quote, 'you latter's don't know how to fight, I got so much to teach ya.'" She mocks him and I laugh.

"Hey! It's the Kitty!" Kasey comes over in her ballerina outfit.

"Aw!" Charlie coos in delight, "what a cutie!" Husk on the other hand frowns at the nickname and his gaze instantly comes to me. I shrug, she didn't learn it from me, Kitty.
