Do i wanna know? if this feeling flows both ways. sad to see you go.꧁ ༺𓆩♱𓆪༻ ꧂
I WOKE UP, i dreamt about my parents nearly every night this week. how many more secrets can i keep? i keep playing their words on repeat. how much more of this can i keep?
crawling out of bed was hard. maybe i'm too busy being sad to fall for something that'll help my financial situation.
i have a little sister to take care of. skyler, she's only ten, i need to stay strong for her, if i don't find a job to pay rent by the end of this month then we'll both be homeless and ill lose custody of her. i can't disappoint my parents. she knows that.
i walked on over to my bathroom with an sad look on my face. i need to do something with my life. soon after brushing my teeth i was hit with the sound of small footsteps approaching my door could be heard before it flung open. revealing an red haired girl, skyler. my beautiful baby sister, who i love with all my heart.
"hey baby." i smile, leaning down to her height. she's 4'11 while im an womping 6'3. an big difference.
"HEYY!" she cheers, bouncing on the heels of her feet, i could see she was already dressed for school, she eats breakfast at school so i didn't have much to do other than take her to school.
she pulls out an paper from behind her back and tosses it at me, "there's job's plenty."
i gave her a weak smile, i've already applied to 99% of the places on this paper. i sigh and thank her, placing my hand on her back as i lead her out to the car my parents had owned.
i opened the car door and smiled at her, picking her up by her waist and placing her in the seat besides me, i marched on over to the other car seat on the drivers side and closed my door, i lean on over her and closed her door. she giggled and lifted her arms into the air and i took the seat belt from her side and wrapped it around her before staring up the car.
"you wanna start the playlist sky?" i ask with an smile, stay strong. for her.
"yes!" she cheers, pressing buttons along the ratio till she got an song she liked.
the car ride was smooth and nice, she was happy. but i couldn't help but stare at her knowing i would soon lose her if i didn't get my act together. but we eventually got to the school.
"bye gorgeous stay sharp okay?" i smile, ruffling her hair, she giggles and unbuckles her seat belt, hopping out of her seat and going into her elementary school.
