I WALKED DOWN THE HALLWAY. zane by my side. we were chatting, i had gotten to know a few things about him, his favorite color, and more. more importantly, why he won't give up on the ninja like everyone else.
zane see's the patients.. ninja. when i dont. when i saw nya and cole he saw lloyd and jay, when i saw lloyd and jay he saw nya and cole.. and kai.
kai. the last patient i needed to see. today im only seeing kai, while zane's seeing the others. why? because since im new i was told my manger wu that i would probably need a break after seeing all of them, saying as many doctors quit after seeing them.
i dont think any of them were all that bad if im being honest.
i did learn something that i hadn't known before though. from seven to eight am, the ninja have highly guarded breakfast together, in which they are all handcuffed, but just enough room to eat.. uncomfortably. they often-ly chat. and from six to seven pm, they have dinner together. during the time i visit they can have lunch, with an caring doctor present. it seems nice.

lloyd and nya gave each other weak smiles as they walked towards the grand lunch table all the ninja shared. their trays were placed before them, the food was cold and not really well made, there was about five to six guards at every exit of the cafeteria and one behind each ninja. the ninja had handcuffs infused with venge stone to stop their elemental powers.
next in came jay, kai and cole. they all sat down at the table. jay frowned at the sight of his food and simply played with it, with his fork. none of them spoke up until kai said something.
"you aren't whoring at the guards today." kai laughed at nya, who would normally wink, or suck on her fork while keeping eye contact with the guards. she hadn't looked a male guard in the eyes ever since her chat with y/n.
"fuck off kai." she furrowed her eyebrows at kai, snapping at him. "not that it's anything to you, but i only have one i desire guy to impress now."
"a guy? you found a guy in here?" kai laughed as he took a bite of the cold vegetables on his plate. "you're funny."
"he!—" before nya could finish her sentence cole spoke up.
"the doctor?" he asked softly, an nervous heat creeping up to his neck at the mention of the doctor.
lloyd and jays ears perked up, they had both seen the doctor before cole and nya but hadn't said anything about him yet.
