'I got a first degree in being my worst enemy,
I got a PhD in always running away,
and if I'm being honest, it scares me to death.
I'm trying to stop it, I'm trying my best
but if it feels like love,
if it feels like love,
then it must be love,
yeah,
it must be love'Song: Must Be Love - Niall Horan.
Before I knew it the days had flown by in a haze and it was Friday again which meant it was concert day. I had spent my week helping out in the kitchen preparing for the winter. The chef who is a lovely girl called Maeve taught me how to can fruits and vegetables and preserve other foods like eggs so we would have a supply all winter, it was actually really interesting and I wished I had known about all of this the past two years while we were on our own but I was grateful that I could still learn new things.
H and I hadn't really seen each other since the night he'd dropped me back home when we got caught by Avery and Nate kissing on the couch which was a little embarrassing. Avery made me tell her everything that had happened which wasn't too much but she told me she was proud, I thought that was a bit of a weird thing for someone to be proud of someone else for but thats Avery I guess. I did see H at breakfast each morning and he was always nice, saying good morning but that was pretty much it, he'd disappear for hours, sometimes he wouldn't make it for dinner and on different days some of the other boys would be gone too, it made me think something else was going on but I don't think I was allowed to know.
I did manage to spend some time with Willow this week and I appreciated that a lot, I felt like we hadn't really spent too much time together lately so that was great, we baked some cookies, played cards and did funny painting of each other.
I was a little bit nervous for the concert tonight but H informed me that Zed wasn't going to be there so I did feel better about that. There was also apparently another new song, Nate had told us earlier that him and H wrote it.
"Are you gonna come get ready or are you just gonna sit there all night" Avery said from the doorway, I was sitting on the couch reading one of her old magazines, well rather I had been flicking through it but got distracted by my own thought like usual.
"Yeah, yeah." I tossed the magazine to the side and stood up "I haven't decided what I'm wearing tonight" Avery was already looking fabulous, dressed in an all black outfit with a mini skirt and leather jacket.
