That evening, the gladers gathered around a roaring bonfire, the flames casting a warm glow over the glade. The Greenie sat among them, his eyes full of wonder as he took in the sight.

I saw Newt pull him away as they sat down on a log, I gave them some privacy, the greenie could use some friends in here.

I approached the fire, seeing Minho sitting on a stump. He just looked at me for a while, but he snapped out of his trance and patted the empty spot beside him.
I walked over to him and sat down beside him.

"Why do you always look at me like that?" I asked.

"Like what?" Minho asked, a playful glint in his eyes.

"You're doing it again," I rolled my eyes, a smile tugging at my lips.

"Well, can you blame me?" Minho said, leaning back slightly.

"You're just so gorgeous." Minho said in a whisper.

"What did you say?" I asked him, holding up my ear to him, I genuinely did not hear him.

He moved closer...

and burped in my ear.

"Ew you're so gross!" I pushed him back, laughing.

He laughed, but then, his expression softened.

"You know Mei-mei, Newt and the others think you're special," Minho said, his tone more serious now. "There's something about you that sets you apart."

"Do you think of me that way too?" I looked up to him.

He held my hand, intertwining our fingers.

"No, you're the most basic person I've ever met." I punched his shoulder and he pretended to be in pain, mocking me.

"I think you're different, that's for sure,"
Minho finally replied, his gaze meeting mine.
"But different isn't always a bad thing."

As Minho took my hand, I felt a warmth spreading through me. His words echoed in my mind, and I couldn't help but wonder what he truly meant by them.

"I guess being different isn't so bad when I have friends like you," you said, squeezing his hand gently.

"Friends, huh?" Minho raised an eyebrow, a frown forming on his lips.

"Well I gotta go talk to the greenie, I promised Alby I'd be his buddy-buddy." I stood up sighing, and walked to Newt and the green-bean, who was walking over either way.

"See you Mei-mei." Minho smiled at me. He looked sad, but I didn't know why.

"Hey, gr-" Before I could say anything, I was rudely interrupted by Gally taunting the poor greenie.
