Girlfriends
First weeks of June, year Two Thousand and Twenty Three. She is my girlfriend.
'AAAAACCKKKK I AM MY CRUSH'S GIRLFRIENDDD' I tweeted.
My twitter account has been so active lately because of the unending kiligs that I always post.
I finally asked Cy to be my girlfriend and she said yes. I am happy, so much. I have been smiling from time to time by now. It has been hours since we became girlfriends and kinikilig ako.
I opened my phone when I heard my phone notification.
[Cy : lods HAHAHAHAHAHA]
[yes?]
[Cy : kinikilig ako]
I smiled upon reading her messages.
[HAHAHAHAHAHAHA]
[dw, love]
[nagsasandok ako ng kanin ng nakangiti]
Kumpleto na buong taon ko.
It was weekends kaya hindi kami makapag kita. We had to wait for monday, but I think mahihiya ako kapag nagkita kami. That's my way of showing kilig.
Not long enough, monday came. As usual, a flag ceremony to approach.
I was in line when I can't see her. I bet she's late.
I smiled a bit when a hand wrapped around my waist. She's here.
My girlfriend is here.
We got more clingier, I got more clingier. Hindi ko na rin masyadong tinatago 'yung kakulitan ko.
Misha and Kierra always use my name whenever Cy is teasing them and hindi na sila makalaban. They always ran into me everytime.
"Hachi, kunin mo nga 'to." Sigaw sa akin ni Kierra, natalo na naman siguro.
Cy is a jolly one, she always teases our friends and have fun with them, lagi rin siyang naaaya sa mga galaan na palaging sa amin. Whenever she's invited to go with us, lagi kaming magkasama.
Palagi kaming tumatambay sa hacienda.
Naging close kasi sa amin si Cy dahil kami ang palagi niyang kasama, we are in the same sets before kaya sa amin siya nasanay.
I can see how she freely enjoy her day with us.
Nag iinuman rin sila which is completely fine with me, I just don't like it when she smokes in front of me. I don't know, I just don't like the idea of smoking.
I can see her smoking but she tries her best not to do it whenever I am around, and I appreciate her for that.
She's extra clingy when drunk, she's so cute.
Days have passed and we're having fun as girlfriends.
"Mag jowa ba kayo?" I started to panic when Jami asked us about Cy and I relationship.
I looked at Cy, she didn't answered so was I.
I was a bit hurt, but I understand. I need her to be comfortable first before telling someone that we're together. I am not pressuring her into things. We also agreed not to tell if we don't really trust that person.
Jami is someone we consider as a friend but not that friend where we can freely tell about us.

[Cy : chi naman]
[i understand where u are coming]
[but denying you wasn't my thing]
[smile or completely ignoring the question is the safest answer i could give]
[i can't tell them we're not together when we clearly are]
[Cy : okay okay]
[Cy : tell na we're together kapag u trust that person talaga]
[and if i don't trust that person, i'll look at you]
[Cy : and if im not around?]
[then i won't entertain their question]
[bahala silang mag overthink]
The next days were fun for us. We really didn't mind the questions thrown at us. Hindi namin sinasabing kami na but our action shouts it all, idagdag pa na sulsol ang mga kaibigan namin.
Jasen found out later than Misha and Kierra since Cy told them right before I asked her to be my girl.
Ngayon, katabi ko siya and I was pouting.
She looked at me and asked: "Why?"
I held her hands and put it on my thigh. She have this everyday routine of putting her hands on my thigh kaya I pouted noong hindi niya ginawa.
She laughed at me and started doing her thing.
Those happy moments comes with some tampuhan but we managed to resolve those.
"Dali na, bilhin mo tapos dalhin mo rito sa school." Nakangiting sigaw ni Misha kay Jasen.
Jasen wants to buy Jenga kasi to play since wala na rin kaming masyadong klase, malapit na rin ang exams.
"Oo nga, hati hati naman tayo sa bayad e." Pag udyok ko. It took him days to decide and finally purchased one.
Nang dumating ay agad niyang dinala and we started to play with it.
Cy has been on my side since then, palagi niya ako pinapanood makipaglaro or siya ang kalaro ko. I enjoy it since hindi naman ako laging nag lalaro, I feel happy when I have the chance to play.
But my head has been hurting lately, I have to drink plenty of water since it was not that tolerable. Meron pa iyong time na hindi na rin ako makahinga and my eyes were blurry, those were my struggles since classes are still on going and I can't do anything.
There's this time were I have to pinch my wrist hard so I won't fall asleep because of the headache, so I can divert my focus on the pain and make my breathing normal. Pinching my skin is helpful for me.
"Ano yan." Agad kong naitago ang kamay ko nang makita ako ni Cy. I was hiding the bruises since it looks like I cut my wrist.
She held my hand and saw the bruises. Karamihan sa mga kurot ko ay halata sa balat ko, sobrang pula and some were purple. Some of them were bleeding too. May kaunti ring hapdi.
That's whrn Cy decided to cut my nails that I grew for a month. She doesn't like what I did.
