Chapter 26
Senior High School
September, year Two Thousand and Twenty Three. Days were fine, but struggles came along the way. We had a lot of misunderstanding happened which somehow lead us to not talk.
Senior High School started and this became a different kind of adjustment for me, for us. I wasn't that knowledgeable enough para makipagsabayan sa mga kaklase ko.
"Ang tatalino ng mga kaklase ko." I told Cy. Lunch ngayon and we decided to buy our meal.
I got quite intimidated with our teachers too, they are far different from what my cousin told me. As for my classmates, a lot of them were my former classmates. Naging close ko naman ang iba noon pero medyo matagal na rin siguro kaya nagkakailangan.
"Wala akong kasama sa room." Cy spoked, she sounded sad. Nahiwalay kasi siya ng section sa ibang kaklase namin na close niya nung tenth grade.
She told me how someone approached her but she wasn't really close with him kaya hindi siya sumasama sa kaniya. She's eating lunch rin sa room namin kaya I am sure that she ate lunch since she has a habit of skipping it.
A day in September, we had a little misunderstanding. But it grew bigger and made her distant from me.
I apologized endlessly and made sure not to do the same shit again so we won't be having that kind of really heavy conflict again.
I did my best para bumawi.
I love her.
We handled everything silently.
"Kinakausap na 'ko ni Icces, nag aasaran kami kanina." I smiled at her.
Nasa gilid kami ng Gymnasium ngayon and we're talking about her new found friend. Last week ay intimidated pa siya roon, ngayon naman ay bukambibig na niya dahil nag aasaran na sila.
Icces is someone I know in the internet. We were mutuals when I am in seventh grade kaya I kinda know her. Nagrereact rin ako minsan sa posts niya.
"May mga close minded kaming mga kaklase kanina, tapos biglang niyang sinigawan na dapat daw..."
That's when I realized that Cy's friend is really politically awared, that's why the two of them clicked. I have seen Icces' posts and immediately concluded that she's politically inclined.
October, it's Cy's birthmonth.
Kaunti lang rin ang nagiging time namin ni Cy. Break, lunch, at uwian nalang kami nag kakasama, minsan ay hindi pa pwede ang lunch.
Katulad ngayon, her schedules were busy so as mine. Need maglinis ng section namin at may quiz pang magkasunod kaya hindi kami mapakali.
I scanned my notes and powerpoints all day since the quizzes will be in the afternoon.

She's offline kaya naghintay muna akong magreply siya bago ako lumabas. Jasmin, one of our classmates waved at me habang nakatitig ako sa pinto, I simply smiled.
We were seatmates, magkatabi lang ang names namin sa list e. She shared her notes with me the first time I sat beside her, wala kasi akong notes and she also shared her pen with me.
"Mag salita ka naman, Chi!" I laughed at EJ when he shouted at me. Siya kasi ang isang katabi ko pa, and he was my former classmate back in 2019.
"Ano namang sasabihin ko?" I asked.
"Tangina, ang tatahimik ng mga katabi ko. Nakakahawa, jusko." Jasmin and I chuckled lowly at what he said.
He was known for being an outgoing one, makakausap siya ng lahat kaya nanibago siya nang hindi niya kami makabiruan.

After eating lunch with Misha and Jasen, I started reviewing. Close na rin naman kami nila Jasmin kaya sumasabay na rin siya sa amin mag review.
Cy must be super busy, after kasi ng message ko ay di na siya nag reply ulit.
Our afternoon class started. As usual, we were given a task that to be passed tomorrow.
The quiz started with us panicking on what to do. It was Calculus.
Nagtagal rin siguro ako roon ng forty five minutes dahil mahirap iyong computations. Hindi ko rin naging gamay iyong lesson dahil paiba iba ang teacher namin sa Calculus, ma'am Daisy's a bit intimidating pa for me.
After the quiz, lumabas ako dala ang notes ko. I planned to review na agad for out next subject so I won't miss a single question.

I messaged Cy, but she wasn't responding kaya I went back to reviewing.
I was busy scanning my notes when Jasmin sat beside me. Nasa sahig kami ng hallway dalawa at parehong nagrereview.
"Ang galing talaga niya." I saw her smiling.
Kalat sa buong klase kung sinong crush niya kaya pati ako ay may alam. She has been crushing on one of our classmates for a month now, I guess. Buti nga ay hindi awkward sa kanilang dalawa.
"Maganda siguro siya maging boyfriend 'no? Matalino." She murmured, para hindi marinig ng mga nasa loob.
"Malay mo, gusto ka rin." Pagsakay ko sa pagiging assumera niya.
Agad naman niya akong pinalo ng malakas. Bakal ang kamay ng babaeng 'to. Putangina.
"Ikaw? May boyfriend ka?" Umiling agad ako sa sinabi niya.
"Crush." She asked again.
"Hindi boyfriend ang meron ako." Tumatawang sabi ko sa kaniya.
"Eh? Ano garod." Tumitig pa siya sa taasat kunwaring nag iisp. Nang may mapagtanto ay nailapit niya ng sobra ang mukha niya, muntik pang mauntog sa tuhod ko. "Girlfriend?"
I silently nodded at her.
"Omg, sino? Yung kasama mo mag lunch?" Napunod na siya ng sobrang daming tanong.
"Yes."
"Wow, stay strong sa inyo." Hindi parin naka takas ang balikat ko sa lagapak ng kamay niya.
"Baliko ka pala, Chi."
Hindi na kami nakapag review.
