Chapter 21
Fever
Days of July, year Two Thousand and Twenty Three.

Days have been good with us, though it there will be times that doesn't go on our way but we're good.
Wala nang masyadong ginagawa ngayon sa school kaya nag s-stay nalang kami sa room, having fun with those who pass the vibes. We would open our room television and watch, mostly horror movies.
When afternoon hits the clock, we will put a picnic mat on the floor and lay down there.
Cy, knowing the drill, she would hug me and make comfortable with her. She has a strong scent that won't hurt my nose so I am okay with putting my face on her neck.
The days were tough and hard for me to sleep better in the house that is why Cy's helpful for me to rest.
"Here, tago ka here." She offered her hands holding her backpack.
I couldn't sleep in so much light, so i'm trying my best to hide my face so I could sleep. Cy helped me with looking for the best spot.
Minutes later, Cy's hand were numb so she had to take it from being my pillow. I took her bag and made it my pillow, the whole area was bright again so I hugged her and hid my face onto her neck.
A bright light was still hitting me so I had to go through, my lips touching her neck.
Damn soft.
She groaned from what I did, I have no choice but to distance my face from her neck.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Nasagi lang." I asnwered, lowly. Inayos ko nalang din ang sarili ko para comfortable siya.
I saw her taking her phone on the side and opened the notes. What will she do?
Siniksik ko nalang ulit iyong mukha ko sa leeg niya, but it has enough distance so I won't touch her neck.
But then, she made me look at her phone and read her note.
"I like it."
I smiled upon seeing that.
Minutes after sleeping, I woke up again. My face is still on Cy's neck.
A silly thought popped up on my mind.
Gumalaw ako tsaka hinalikan ang leeg ni Cy. I felt her stilled but act like nothing happend so I continued kissing her neck. I did that for a long time.
Hindi na rin niya siguro alam ang gagawin kung pipigilan ba ako o hindi dahil siya na ang gumawa ng paraan para itago ang ginagawa ko.
Days have passed and that became our set up, but today is a bit different. I was biting her neck and I know she's not liking it.
I looked at her and stopped when I felt like I got out of mind for what I am doing. I stared at her and smiled then continued trying to get my sleep.
But a red mark was visible onto her neck, kinabahan na ako dahil alam kong magagalit siya sa akin.
"What?" She asked.
I stared at her then smiled again; "Sorry." I said.
She glanced at me, noong una ay hindi niya pa maintindihan ang sinasabi ko but when realization seems to hit her, she immediately stood up and ran towards the mirror.
There she sneaky tried to look at her neck. She saw a little red mark and glared at me.
"Namoka, Chi." She said thrice in a row.
Then the next thing I know, she wasn't talking to me. I didn't mean to give her a hickey!
The mark was still visible but it was too low so she can hide it on her shirt. She's cute but she's not talking to me.
When we finally talked, she always reminded me not to do that again since there's still classes going on.
I agreed but I was a bit naughty at times.
The next day, she fell really sick. Pumasok parin siya and I had to take care of her, she's so hot.
"Chi, ang sakit ng head ko." She told me.
Agad kong inalis ang phone sa kamay niya tsaka siya tinabihan.
"Stop using your phone muna ang sleep, uminom ka ba ng gamot bago pumunta rito?" Kinapa ko ulit ang noo niya and her fever is so high.
Umiling lang siya habang nakapikit.
I took her bag and saw her medicine in there, sinet ko nalang iyong alarm sa phone niya para uminom mamayang alas nueve. Hindi niya gustong uminom ng gamo ngayon e, hindi rin siya kumain.
I also failed to made her drink her medicine when the alarm rang. Kaya ang ginawa ko ay agad akong nagpabili ng Royal Soda, pambudol para makainom siya ng gamot.
"Uminom ka na dali." Mahinang sabi ko.
She obliged this time. Ang hirap niya pilitin but thank God she took her medicine already.
After that, she took a nap again. I monitored her from time to time and made her drink water every thirty minutes. I also wiped her sweats.
"Ang bigat ng ulo ko." Mahinang bulong niya sa akin, she's out of energy too. "Gusto ko nang umuwi." She added.
The teacher's have a meeting pero agad din kaming nakapagpahawa ng letter kay ma'am para makauwi na si Cy, i helped her fixed her things and Jami volunteered to go with her to the gate.
"Jami, hatid mo sa sakayan. 'Wag mong iiwan hanggat hindi nakakasakay." Bulong ko sa kaniya bago sila pinanood na umalis.
Minutes have passed, her mom passed by our room looking for her. Nasa senior highschool pala ang mama niya kanina, hindi niya rin alam.
She came home safe naman so I was relieved. She took the chance to rest too kaya hindi na rin siya nagreply sa akin.
I just wish na gumaling na siya.
