I stand at the end of the aisle, playing with the cuff links on my suit.
"I'm so fucking nervous, I'm actually sweating" I look to Max who is stood at the side of me. Our room full of guests had taken their place and the ceremony was due to start at any moment.
"Chill man. You been nervous is making me nervous" He says as he adjusts his sleeve.

The music begins playing and I notice the doors to the ceremony open. First I see Cis walking down with my eldest niece Mila, followed by Flo with my youngest niece  Athena. Then Lola and Isaac walk down together. The moment comes and everyone stands.

That's when I see her, she hadn't looked at me yet. I could tell she was nervous, she was gripping tightly to her fathers arm, her knuckles with white with how tight she was gripping. I looked at her, she was beautiful. I mean she was beautiful but there is something about your soulmate on your wedding day that hits a little differently. She takes a few steps before her eyes lock on to mine. I could see instantly her body relax and she smiles. I would almost say she picked up her stride to get to me quicker. She gets to me and I watch as her father kisses her cheek before taking a seat next to Liss. She stands opposite me now.
"You look beautiful" I whisper to her.
The ceremony begins and we listen intently to the registrar. We had decided to write our own vows, it was my turn first.
"Belle, where do I begin. We've been on a crazy journey and it's took us on a rollercoaster of emotions. I've only known you for a little while but I feel like I've already known you a lifetime already and I can't wait to see what the future has in hold for us. A lifetime of love, memories and adventures with you, my soulmate by my side. I will protect and love you throughout life, you will never be alone. I found a quote from your favourite film The Longest Ride and I just feel it relates to us 'If we'd never met, I think I would have known that my life wasn't complete. And I would have wandered the world in search of you, even if I didn't know who I was looking for' Thank you for finding and choosing me Belle to love you." I wipe away a tear from my eye and I watch as she does the same. It was now her turn.
"Tough act to follow" she jokes and the guests let out a little laugh as do I " Lando, you taught me so many things in such a short time. You taught me to love not only you but myself. You taught me to follow my dreams and you've supported and guided me to them. You taught me to be strong and to let me guard down. You taught me to trust and you taught me to love the little things in life. I'm thankful for the memories we've already made together and I can't wait to create more memories with you, hand in hand with the one who owns my heart. I also promise not to eat sushi in front of you again" she lets out a laugh.
"With that, I can now pronounce you lawfully married. You may kiss your bride"
Loud cheers and claps come from the crowd but that didn't matter to me, having her lips on mine was my main focus now. Our lips touch and nothing else matters, she was mine and she will always be mine.

What started as a crazy one night stand with a complete stranger. To entering in to an agreement in to marriage, to falling completely head over heels for this girl. She tells me that she was the lost one before she met me, but I think deep down I was lost and now I've found what was missing. It was her and it will always be her.
