The next day I wake up happier than I have felt about this whole situation. Lando was a pretty good friend and actually quite funny. Maybe these 6 months won't be so bad after all. I stretch as I stand and head out in to the kitchen in need of a drink. As I enter the room, I can see two legs on the floor, peeping from behind the sofa. I creep in quietly, to see my bike completed and Lando asleep on the floor with his glasses still resting on his face. I smile at the site, I reach in to my hoodie pocket grabbing my phone and snapping a picture. I tiptoe to the kitchen, grabbing a water and sitting down on the barstool. I post the picture on my Instagram story, too funny not to share.

I look from my phone to see Lando waking up, slowly moving his body. He sits up, looking around currently unaware of his surroundings. "Morning sleeping beauty" I joke to him. "Did I fall asleep?" He looks around confused. " I think you did. Thank you for finishing my bike. I really appreciate it" I smile to him. "I thought it would be better to do it without you bossing me around" He smiles. "Hey. Don't be so mean" I joke, taking a sip of my water. "What are your plans for today?" I look to him as he gets off the floor and heads towards me. "I was going to play some golf." "Oh, can I come?" I look to him as he grabs a bottle of water from the fridge. "You play?" He looks to me shocked. "A little bit" I smile. I didn't want to tell him that I was pretty decent at it. I thought I'd let him find out. "Oh cool. I'm sure I can show you how it's done. Will you be ready to leave in an hour?" "Yep. I'll go get ready"
An hour passes and we are both heading down to the garage to the car. We reach a all black Land Rover. "Do you want to drive?" Lando looks to me as we get near it. "I can't drive. I don't have a licence" "Wait, what?" He looks to me shocked as he places the golf clubs into the boot and heads for the drivers side door. "Well I never had time when I was competing and then when I was in college, I lived on campus so I had no need to" "Well we've got to change that. I'll help you" "Oh god help us" I chuckle to myself. "Was that a sarcastic comment there Miss Tenby?" He looks to me raising his eyebrows. "Me, sarcastic. Absolutely not"
A short drive later we pull up to the golf club. Lando signs me in as his guest and we grab a golf cart to the first hole. "You ready?" Lando looks to me as I jump off the golf cart. "I think so. It's been a while" I smirk. I set up the ball, grab the rental clubs and take my stance. "You want to bend your knees a little more" Lando comments. I do as he says, taking a breath before swinging my club up and wacking the ball with such a force that it rockets down the course. "Fuck" Lando looks on in amazement as the ball bounces closely to the hole. "I may have done this before" I smirk as I take a step back. "I-I, I wasn't expecting you to be that...I mean I." "What's wrong Lando, scared of a little competition?" "No. Not at all" He objects. "How about the winner picks what we have for dinner and what film to watch" I raise my eyebrows to him. "Deal" He shakes my hand confidently.
The hours pass but unfortunately Lando couldn't compete and I end up taking the win. "How is that even possible?" Lando looks to me as I put the clubs on the back of the golf cart. "My grandpa, likes playing golf so I used to go with him" "I can't believe I've been beaten" We head back to the club house to drop off the cart and clubs before heading back to the car. "Oh wait. I've forgot my bag" I respond, running back in to the golf house. I luckily find my bag with the reception area. As I head out my phone pings and I see Lando has tagged me in a post on Instagram.

It's mine too, I love Adam Sandler. Have you ever watched 50 first dates?" "I don't think so." "Right we will watch this next then"
