Zayn rushed down the stairs with a big smile on his face, stuck there for no apparent reason. He walked to the kitchen and took an apple to eat for breakfast, not feeling hungry at all and in no need for anything big. "Hey Saf, have fun at school!"

Safaa smiled and her sky blue eyes lit up over how happy Zayn looked, "You too".

With that, Zayn yelled out a simple 'goodbye' before leaving the house. He jogged for a while, backpack bouncing up and down his back. After a while he slows down to catch his breath and then continues his way, walking.

The new school was huge but he already knew where to find most of the rooms. It wasn't as boring looking on the inside compared to the old school back in England.

"Sup' bro, you're here earlier than usual.",  someone said from behind whilst placing a hand on Zayn's shoulder. Zayn turned around and pulled the guy into a one armed hug. "Hey Alex."

The first classes passed by in a blink and it was time for lunch. Zayn sat down at the table where his friends were, the so-called jocks/popular gang. He didn't mind though, they were just regular people who apparently got more attention than others. The 'jocks' invited Zayn as soon as they saw him and made him feel welcome and cared for.

Zayn had three favourite friends from them all, the three people he usually hangs out with during breaks and sometimes after school. Their names were Alex, Kaitlynn and Sarah.  Alex was his main though.

"So I heard you, Luca is having a party this weekend since his parents are away, who's going?"

Zayn looked over at both Luca and Chris who seemed as if parties were something normal that happened on a daily basis.

Before Zayn could ask anything another dude did, "Do we have to bring anything?"

"Yeah sure if you want to."  Luca replied.

Zayn continued eating, not feeling like joining the others in their conversations that day. He just listened to what they were saying.

"Anyone wanna go out 'n' smoke?" Chris asked.

Some people said no, most of them yes.

"Zayn, you coming?" Chris asked.

"Uh uhm.. No." Zayn said.

"Come on it'll be fun, don't be a twat."

"I- I don't really want to though."

Christopher sighed and gave up, "Fine, but only for this time." He waved and left with the rest of the smoking group.

Zayn sighed and looked to see who was left, Sarah was the only one of them he was close to so he decided to stick to her. "It's okay Z, your decision if you want to smoke or not."

Zayn mumbled a small thanks and simply asked why she didn't go with them.

"Well I'd prefer spending my time with you rather than slowly killing myself." she said and stood up, "I'm going to our next class, coming?" The Bradford boy just nodded in agreement and followed the blonde girls steps.

"I'm home!" Zayn yells and sighs as he takes his shoes and jacket off. He goes to his room, places his backpack there and then leaves to go to the living room.

The beige walls of the room are lit up and so are the white curtains. "Hello, what are we doing?" Zayn asks and takes a seat on the couch next to one of his sisters.

"We're watching TV and building a fort. Do you wanna join Zayn?" Saafa asks from the corner of the room, building an actual fort out of blankets and pillows. Zayn chuckles and replies with 'I'm fine'.
