The next day dawned with a soft golden light filtering through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room as Taelyn slowly blinked her eyes open. As she stirred from her slumber, she became acutely aware of the fact that she was lying in Heeseung's bed, her body nestled against the soft sheets in a state of blissful contentment.
She inhales then exhales out in a satisfactory way, basking in the comfort of the king sized bed.
But as she attempted to rise from the bed, her legs gave out beneath her, sending her tumbling to the floor in a heap. Shock and confusion washed over her as she struggled to make sense of her sudden weakness, her mind racing as she attempted to recall how she had ended up in Heeseung's bed in the first place.
With a shaky breath, Taelyn attempted to push herself up from the floor, her muscles protesting with each movement as she struggled to regain her footing. It was then that she noticed a faint soreness lingering in her limbs, a dull ache that served as a painful but pleasureful reminder of the events of the previous night.
She suddenly gets flashbacks of the way he pounded into her deeply last night, and she blushes.
Taelyn slowly manages to pull herself upright, her breath coming in short, shallow gasps as she attempted to steady herself. But before she could make sure of her stability, the door to the room burst open with a resounding crash, causing her to jump in alarm.
Through the doorway strode Heeseung, his brow furrowed in concern as he took in the sight before him. "Princess, are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with worry as he hurried to her side.
He proceeds to worriedly eye her up and down. "I'm fine," she stifles a laugh.
Heeseung's expression softened at her words, his eyes filled with genuine concern as he reached out to steady her. "You scared me," he admitted. "I heard you fall from downstairs and I came running."
As Taelyn leaned against him for support, she couldn't help but feel grateful for his quick response.
Heeseung, on the other hand, looks down at her quivering legs and realizes what the problem was. "It felt good though, right?" he evilly taunted.
"Heeseung!" she embarrassedly pushed him away.
He simply smiled, "Come on. Let me help you get down." As Heeseung gently lifted her into his arms, Taelyn couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth flood through her at the sensation of being cradled against his chest.
As Heeseung carried her downstairs, Taelyn's gaze wandered to the sight of his broad shoulders and muscular frame, her heart skipping a beat at the sight of the familiar bulge of his muscles beneath the fabric of his shirt.
But as her eyes trailed lower, she couldn't help but notice something odd—a glint of metal peeking out from beneath the hem of his shirt, the unmistakable shape of a concealed weapon hidden against his side.
