"If you don't get out of my house in ten seconds, I'm never going to let you go again," he lowly warns as a way of threatening her. It was as if her staying meant that he'd devote his entire body and soul to her, and that was exactly the case.

Ten minutes later, Heeseung awoke from his sleep, his instincts alerting him to something amiss. As his eyes adjusted to the dim light of the room, he immediately noticed Taelyn's absence.
He felt like he just had a bad dream, but he automatically didn't remember what it was. Due to that uncertainty in waking up, his gut instincts kicked in and he felt like something was wrong. Very wrong. Panic surged through him as he sat up, quickly scanning the room for any sign of her.
"Taelyn?" he called out automatically. When there was no response, he swung his legs over the side of the bed and stood up, his heart pounding. He knew something was wrong.
He quickly checked the rest of the room, hoping she had just stepped out for a moment, but it was clear she had left. His mind raced, recalling the look of distress on her face earlier. He cursed under his breath, realizing she must have left to deal with something serious on her own.
Heeseung grabbed his phone and tried calling her, but it went straight to voicemail. Frustration and worry gnawed at him. He couldn't just sit around and wait. He had to find her.
Rushing out of the room, he headed toward the common area, where some of the other members were still awake. Sunghoon looked up, noticing Heeseung's anxious expression. "Hyung, what's wrong?" he asked, concern evident in his voice.
"Have you guys seen Taelyn?" Heeseung queried. "I can't find her."
"Maybe she's taking a walk or something," Ni-ki shrugged. He and Jungwon were playing card games because they couldn't sleep.
"Wait," Jungwon, who at first was very focused on his competition with the maknae, dropped his cards and looked up at Heeseung. "Ni-ki and I saw her walking out. She smiled at us so we thought nothing of it. But I think she was heading for the exit."
Heeseung's heart sank. "The exit? Did she say where she was going?"
Jungwon shook his head. "No, she didn't. She just seemed... determined."
Heeseung's mind raced, recalling the earlier phone call had received. He cursed under his breath, realizing that his intuition was right and that the caller wasn't just a scammer. "I think she's in trouble. We need to find her."
The group quickly mobilized, grabbing their gear and heading out into the night. As they made their way to the exit, Heeseung's thoughts were consumed with worry for Taelyn. Anxious thoughts were circulating in his head: Why did she lie to me? Where is she going? I asked her to stay put.
"What's with the commotion?" Sunoo yawned as he walked out of the room. "You guys are loud as heck."
"Taelyn's gone," Heeseung replied, trying to keep his voice steady. "I think something's happened. She didn't tell me where she was going, but I have a bad feeling."
Sunoo's sleepy expression turned serious in an instant. Jay, who had also decided to walk out to see what the tension was about, widened his eyes. "Gone? What do you mean, gone?" the sharp-eyed boy asked.
