"How's it going?" Lu Zhan quickly handed Luo Zhen a piece of clean animal skin as he saw him washing his hands in clear water, urging him to wipe the water off his hands.

A Jiao covered He Zhan with a soft animal skin quilt, drawing on her experience in caring for wounds to avoid putting pressure on his injuries.

Luo Zhen planned to train A Jiao as a nurse due to her careful and patient nature, which made her well-suited for caregiving tasks. Besides stitching the wound, A Jiao managed dressing and other tasks almost as well as Luo Zhen.

She had planted fresh herbs in flower pots at home, though their growth conditions weren't as favorable as Luo Zhen's. Nevertheless, they were usable, including the thistle she used to stop the bleeding, which she had picked from her home flowerpot.

"Except for the more serious injuries on his back, the others are just minor skin injuries. We've stopped the bleeding and with some medication, he should recover," Luo Zhen explained, mentioning that the medicine was from Heiyuan. He used Yunjing to cultivate Tai Sui, enough to provide for Hezhan's needs.

"But the wounds inflicted by the beasts are challenging to heal. Our newly grown Tai Sui might not restore him to his original state," Luo Zhen added, noting that Heizhan had used up most of his Tai Sui treating Heiya's leg injury previously.

Lu Zhan nodded in agreement with Luo Zhen's approach, acknowledging that saving an enemy solely to gather information about the monsters was their main motive. With hundreds of orc warriors in the Great Lakes tribe, they were becoming a formidable force, potentially rivaling the Panther tribe as the most powerful in the area.

But the leader of such a tribe was brought to the brink of death by beasts. It's conceivable that the number of these beasts must be quite large, perhaps even outnumbering the Great Lakes tribe. So, the continued existence of the Great Lakes tribe raises questions.

Lu Zhan's expression turned serious. They had recently monitored the Dahu tribe's situation, checking all areas in the vicinity, yet found no trace of monsters. Where did these monsters suddenly emerge from in such a short time? If the beasts discover their Sun Yao tribe's existence, a fierce battle may be inevitable.

With the wounds from the river battle tended to, Lu Zhan went out to discuss matters with other fighters. Despite no signs of monsters near their tribe, caution was necessary.

Perhaps he finally found suitable materials for the windows. That night, Heiyuan happily carried a wooden box filled with the giant anaconda's hearts home. The meat had already been distributed to the tribe, with Heifu deliberately saving the largest anaconda for them. He carefully cut it into sections and placed them in the wooden box outside the house, where the cold weather acted as a natural refrigerator, preserving the meat until spring.

"Zhenzhen, there are three hearts here. I discarded one during the hunt, but if it's not enough, I'll hunt more next time," Heiyuan remarked, aware of the tribe's taste for viscera, unlike the Wizards' Hall where it was forbidden.

Heiyuan licked his lips, recalling the various viscera dishes made by Luo Zhen. Despite their initial dirtiness, Luo Zhen's skillful cleaning and cooking turned them into delicacies. He eagerly anticipated the moment when Luo Zhen would start cooking with the three hearts.

"Thank you," Luo Zhen said, examining the wooden box without a lid. Left outside for a while, the hearts of the giant anacondas had frozen solid. Despite the giant anaconda's large body, its heart was surprisingly small, not much bigger than a fist. Luo Zhen marveled at how such a small heart could power such a massive creature, recalling Lu Zhan's swift battle with the anaconda.

A Jiao had already left, leaving behind a pot of broth filling the room with a savory aroma.

Lu Zhan hadn't returned, opting to seek solace with his stag-horned horse in the animal shed to avoid Heiyuan. "Enough, these three hearts will sustain A Zhan for a while," Luo Zhen remarked, noting the bond formed between Lu Zhan and the anaconda's heart.
