Flying ants, a swarm of flame ants with wings, filled the sky, spreading out as far as the eye could see. It's unclear how many there are.

Luo Zhen is known as the queen ant to this group of flame ants. Although he didn't personally gestate them, they can still recognize his aura, just as he can distinguish them from thousands of other ants.

With just one glance, Luo Zhen recognized the swarm of flame ants that had flown thousands of miles across mountains and rivers. They were the ones he left behind in the tribe—new ants that hadn't hatched when he departed.

To ensure the flame ants didn't forget his scent, Luo Zhen fed them a bit of his own blood before leaving the tribe. However, what Luo Zhen didn't know was that due to his cultivation of Jingguo over the past few years, his blood had become infused with his own power. It was sweeter than ordinary life energy, and the flame ants, deeply bonded with him, could easily absorb these abilities and use them for their own.

Not long after Luo Zhen and the others left, the first batch of new ants successfully hatched. Other flame ants, unwilling to be left behind, were likely stimulated, like Lu Yi, to grow wings and join their companions in searching for them, following the scent left by Ah Si.

Despite the absence of any recent flame ant activity, the orc warriors of the Kru Lion tribe were well aware of these fierce little creatures. With their sharp teeth capable of piercing tough skins and swallowing prey whole, they were feared.

As they looked up at the winged flame ants, the Kru Lion tribe's warriors felt a chill down their spines. Was this ordinary wizardry? Why were the flame ants obeying this wizard?

Some recalled seeing an old witch riding a beast—a carnivorous camel tortoise with a ferocious temperament. Many believed only wizards had the ability to command beasts.

Some attempted to light fires to drive away the ferocious creatures, but the strong winds preceding the heavy rain prevented them from igniting the simple flints.

The flame ants were swift. Though stunned by their sudden appearance, Luo Zhen didn't need to command them. Lu Yi, who rushed ahead, had already attacked the nearest lion from the shore. When the other flame ants saw this, they followed Lu Yi's lead, charging towards the surrounding Kru Lion orcs.

Luo Zhen didn't want the flame ants he raised to develop a taste for human flesh, nor did he want them to become his killing tools. After all, having spent over two decades in modern society, his deeply ingrained beliefs couldn't be easily overturned. Moreover, Lu Zhan had always protected him well. He wanted his partner and Da Wu to live happily, free from too much bloodshed, as killing was not a joyful thing.

Therefore, although the flame ants looked fierce when they pounced on the Kru Lion tribe's people, they didn't actually kill them. They merely incapacitated those who got in their way.

The flame ants were everywhere, and the bestial Kru Lion warriors couldn't handle such small creatures. Soon, no one came to hinder the wooden boat. Luo Zhen and the others successfully broke out of the Kru Lion tribe's territory and left the Kluishi tribe's scope.

As expected, the heavy rain arrived earlier than Luo Zhen and the others had anticipated. Many people fell in the wild grass, some still in their beastly forms, unable to move. They could only watch helplessly as the rain drenched their animal skins and hair.

After taking care of Luca, Ke Lang's expression darkened. The flame ants had disappeared, and even some of the fallen flame ant corpses had been taken away by other flame ants. Besides the continuous heavy rain, there was no sound.

Kelang didn't send anyone to continue chasing Luo Zhen and his party. Instead, with a solemn expression, he and the other tribesmen carried those who had been knocked down back to the tribe. Spending too long in heavy rain could lead to fever and even death. Kelang didn't want to lose his people in vain.
