Luka pursed his lips and remained silent. Although he hadn't anticipated Lu Zhan's strength to be so formidable, he didn't believe his own strength was inferior to Lu Zhan's. He had just successfully upgraded his fighting level. If there were any comparison to be made, perhaps Lu Zhan's recklessness and poor water quality might catch him off guard.

Luka moved his fingers discreetly, unsure of what material the ropes were made of. They appeared sturdy, making it challenging for him to break free in his current condition.

"Let's discuss it. What's the deal with the returning orcs in your tribe?" Lu Zhan nudged Luka's shoulder with his toe, signaling for him to regain consciousness.

This disrespectful gesture made Luka frown, his gaze sending chills towards Lu Zhan.

Squatting down, Lu Zhan stared at Luka. "I believe a returning orc who can communicate could greatly enhance your tribe's strength. And everyone knows how sensitive the mastiff people are. We can easily find you if you hide in the water."

Without letting Luka speak, Lu Zhan narrowed his eyes slightly and continued, "You've locked up Black Mountain. Do you want him to become a communicating orc too? The Black Panther tribe's returning orc is stronger than a level six orc warrior."

A hint of surprise flashed in Luka's eyes. "It seems I've underestimated you. You even know the fighter levels."

Lu Zhan chuckled lightly. "We know more than you think."

"Why ask me then? Do you think I'll spill the secrets of our tribe?" Luka retorted.

Lu Zhan shrugged. "Just because you won't say it voluntarily doesn't mean we can't make you talk."

Helplessly, Luka walked to the backpack he had been carrying and retrieved a small wooden box from inside. Covered with animal skins, the box revealed a dried root inside, as thick as a finger and brownish-yellow in color.

This was the root of a guttata, though its effects weren't as powerful as its name suggested. It could only cause abdominal pain, not fatal, but the pain was intense, even for fierce beasts. However, it was simple to relieve the pain—just consume a bit of pine bamboo leaves.

Luka didn't use the entire guttata root, only cutting off a third of it, crushing it, and soaking it in water before handing it to Lu Zhan.

Taking it, Lu Zhan held Luka's chin and poured the concoction directly into his mouth. Lu Zhan's movements were skilled, with only a few drops spilling out.

Ah Qing touched his abdomen with lingering fear. Once, he had mistakenly ingested something that caused excruciating pain, leaving him rolling on the ground, wishing to tear out his intestines. Since then, Ah Qing held a deep respect for wild plants and was cautious about what he consumed.

"What did you give me?" Luca coughed several times, attempting to vomit what he had just drunk, but unfortunately, he only retched a few times. Nothing came out except saliva, and he felt a strange warmth rising in his abdomen.

"Something to help you talk," Lu Zhan smiled.

In the orc world, even when dealing with enemies, it usually ends in a fight or direct killing. If the other party doesn't want to disclose information, you might not be able to extract it from them, no matter how hard you try. Torture techniques for extracting confessions are not yet known in this world.

However, as Luo Zhen recognized more plant species and combined with the knowledge possessed by Lu Zhan, it greatly changed Lu Zhan's approach. Though limited by resources, Lu Zhan generally avoided using excessively cruel methods, but he was determined with Luka.
