Although he knew he couldn't do much, Lu Zhan's movements persisted. Seeing Luo Zhen's lack of resistance, he gradually eased the strength in his grip until he ceased restraining him altogether.

Ever since Luo Zhen agreed to experiment with Lu Zhan, he had inferred his current condition. Despite lacking prior romantic experiences, he possessed enough knowledge to comprehend the situation. Anticipating the strength disparity, Luo Zhen doubted his ability to assert dominance.

Initially, Luo Zhen braced for resistance, but as tension subsided, his body relaxed. Even as Lu Zhan seemed poised to consume him whole, Luo Zhen remained passive. Gently, he wrapped his arms around Lu Zhan's neck, soothingly trailing his fingers through the other's hair. He considered pinching those fleshy ears to reassure Lu Zhan of his presence.

Luo Zhen's gestures assuaged Lu Zhan's tumultuous emotions. They wrestled through the night until fatigue overcame Luo Zhen, prompting him to drift into slumber. Having endured a night of rain and a series of taxing events, physical and mental exhaustion weighed heavily upon Luo Zhen.

The redness in Lu Zhan's eyes waned slightly as he gazed upon the unsuspecting figure before him. Tenderly, he kissed Luo Zhen's eyelids, his gaze tracing the bruised marks on his body. With bated breath, he retrieved the animal skin jacket torn off during their struggle and draped it over Luo Zhen, cradling him as if safeguarding a precious treasure.

Within the cave, oblivious to the perilous wilderness outside, the occupants busied themselves throughout the night, with the chasing wind stationed nearby as a sentinel against impending danger.

Unnoticed by either of them, the crystal fruit once held by Luo Zhen had fallen to the ground and been inadvertently crushed during their tussle. Its juice coated Luo Zhen, but Lu Zhan swiftly lapped it up, ingesting it without hesitation.

Waking up in a daze around noon, Luo Zhen's nose tickled, prompting a sneeze. His left hand felt sore and numb, as though it had fallen asleep, leaving him to rely on his right hand to rub his nose. Initially disoriented upon waking, he gradually recalled the events of the previous night, causing his face to flush with embarrassment. However, he found no discomfort in certain sensitive areas, a relief that he attributed to Lu Zhan's restraint and consideration during their intimate encounter.

Attempting to withdraw his almost unconscious left hand, Luo Zhen encountered resistance and turned to face the head of a massive white beast. Surveying the cave, he noticed Lu Zhan's absence, while the chasing wind outside appeared unperturbed by the sudden appearance of the colossal creature.

Upon closer inspection, Luo Zhen recognized the familiar leopard-like appearance of the sleeping giant. Recalling Lu Zhan's transformation during his semi-beastial state, Luo Zhen tentatively addressed the creature beside him, "A Zhan?"

Though the white giant leopard showed no signs of waking, it nudged its head towards Luo Zhen, its smooth skin eliciting a sour, itchy sensation where it made contact. Carefully extricating his arm from beneath the creature's head, Luo Zhen observed a purple-red bite mark on his skin, a testament to Lu Zhan's controlled restraint during their encounter. The sight triggered a flood of memories from the previous night, leaving Luo Zhen feeling as flushed as a ripe peach, had there been a mirror to confirm his reddened complexion.

Glancing fiercely at the oblivious beast beside him, Luo Zhen stood up and donned the animal skin. Chasing wind nudged him as he emerged, prompting Luo Zhen to pour a little water from the bamboo tube for it to drink.

With the fire long extinguished, the water in the bamboo tube was not entirely clear. Despite this, Luo Zhen had become accustomed to consuming water found in the wild without boiling it, a habit he had picked up from his time in the Riyao tribe.
