Kenzie had no idea who had told her mum she was sleeping with her teacher. She knew she wasn't. But she needed to know who had told her mum that.

It wasn't true at all. And Kenzie hated that someone was trying to mess with her. She wasn't sure why. She knew that she had done nothing to anyone.

Things were hard for her at the moment. She was happy with her sister. She felt comfortable. And she didn't want to be around Adam. She knew she wanted a relationship with her mum. But it couldn't happen while Adam was in the picture. She knew that she didn't like him.

Kenzie knew her sister had told her she could stay as long as she wanted. And Kenzie was thankful. She knew that things weren't always easy. And she felt like she was sort of getting her life together.

All she knew was that things were sort of okay for her. And she had no idea how to even deal with what had been said to her mum. Despite how it wasn't true.

But she couldn't help but think about it being true. Tom had been there for her. He had supported her and made her feel special. But she didn't know what it meant.

Morning came and she walked downstairs. Esmè was there with Alyssa. "Where's Max?" Kenzie asked.

Alyssa smiled. "He's gone to get breakfast cause I can't be bothered to cook today. Sausage and bacon sandwich okay?"

"Yeah sounds good. I woke up starving today," Kenzie told her as she picked up Esmè and tickled her.

Alyssa smiled. "All morning she's been going on about you waking up. She's been awake since 5am. And she wanted to wake you up," she told her sister.

Kenzie smiled. Knowing she felt as though she finally had a home and a family.

Kenzie went into school with Max and Alyssa. She smiled and walked off inside. She saw her mum and sighed. She wanted nothing more than to go and talk to her. But after how she had spoke to her,
She didn't want to.

Tom walked over to her and smiled. "Hey. You okay?" He asked as he looked to her.

Kenzie nodded. "I'm as okay as I can be. Things are hard. But I'm trying to focus on making it work. I wanna make something of my life," she said.

"You will. You have the support of everyone here. And I know it doesn't seem it, but you have your mum too. It's not easy at all, you've been through so much. So I think you just have to focus on proving to everyone you've got what it takes to make it through your hard time."

Kenzie looked to him and smiled. she couldn't help but feel like there was a connection there with them both. And she felt as though it was too much for her.

"Thanks sir."

Kenzie was sitting in the common room. Rachel walked in and smiled. "Hey love. I want to say sorry for what I said the other day. I know you're not sleeping with anyone."

Kenzie nodded. She knew how tense it was with her mum. But she had no idea how it was all about to go completely wrong.
