ASTORIA
It has been three days since we got married and I have not seen Theodore. At all.
The morning after the wedding, when I woke up, it was only Céline in the house.
I zipped the side of my dress and exited the bathroom. Thankfully my belongings did arrive as promised. I even placed all of the things in the closet and organised the bathroom and the vanity desk.
Just like back home.
I mean I had to get use to here so that was the first step.
My feet tapped on the wooden floor as I made my way to the cabinet. I took a hair clip and did my hair half up.
My face was bare of any makeup.
The sun was shining through the big windows and beautifully lightened the room. It was my favourite part of the house. Yesterday, I did a tour with Céline. She showed me every little corner.
The house had everything. From library to an indoor swimming pool and a gym. It had a big cinema which I'll have to use soon. I loved watching movies.
The yard was a magic itself. The people who took care of it really need a rise. They were amazing at their job.
She also introduced me to the rest of the staff members. There were many guards and couple of more maids.
There was also a male nurse who was helping Theodore but I haven't meet him yet.
Opening the door, I walked out and made my way through the hallway and down the stairs. It was past 8am, and I was hungry.
When I reached the kitchen, Seb and Anette were waltzing around, making the breakfast. They were a married couple. They had a son who worked in the garden whenever he was not in school.
"Good morning, miss." They both greeted me and I returned a smile to them.
"Good morning to you too."
They continued to bring the food to the table while I sat on one of the chairs. I was use to being served at home but I wanted to learn how to cook myself as well.
It was on top of my to do list. Maybe Seb and Anette can teach me a couple of dishes.
"Here." Anette set the plates in front of me. A smile formed on her face. Her blond hair was in a high bun and she had the same cooking uniform as Seb.
"Thank you for the breakfast." I said and dug into the food. It was truly delicious. It was evident why they worked here. Also they were a good team despite being a married couple. I feel like I wouldn't be able to share a work with my husband.
Maybe if you really love each other then it doesn't matter.
After I was done with the food, I picked up the plates and took them to the dishwasher.
