BAKUGO'S POV
When I parked the car, the boys practically jumped out before I had the chance to turn it off. "Wait!" I yelled after them before they could run across the parking lot.
The twins kept one hand on the car while Daizen scanned the beach, presumably looking for his boyfriend. After I got out of the car, we walked over together and found Froppy, who was the only person in their hero costume since she was in charge today.
The twins ran to her to get our assigned area while Daizen stayed with me. Without even getting our assignment, I knew where we would be. There's an empty spot between Dunce's family and Shitty Hair's family practically calling us. As soon as the boys came back and confirmed it, we made our way over there.
"Hey!" Shitty Hair cheered. "We were thinking you guys forgot."
"As if," Daizen said jokingly, walking right by him and stopping in front of Reiji. "Hey, love," he said before giving him a quick peck.
"And there they go," Pinky said as the twins ran over to Dunce's daughter, Hina.
"And I'm the only Bakugo left in our area." I'm always happy when my kids have fun, but I don't want to clean our entire area alone. At least this gives me a chance to talk to Shitty Hair and his wife.
"Would you guys mind if I stole Reiji for the weekend?" I asked them, glancing between my kids to make sure they were still okay.
"For what?" Shitty Hair asked.
"We're taking the boat up to the cabin for the weekend for Daizen's birthday. He asked if Reiji could join us." Since Deku said he was fine with it, I figured I might as well. I don't have many more chances to give my kids these memories. Daizen will be eighteen next year, and although he said he would stay home until he finishes school, I don't think I'll see much of him during that time. He wants to work and volunteer, so he'll probably be busy most of next year.
"What are the sleeping arrangements?" Pinky asked.
"The cabin has two bedrooms. The primary has a king, and the secondary has two queens. The twins will take one queen, Daizen and Reiji can share the other, or Reiji can sleep on the couch." I would be more hesitant about them sharing a bed if they weren't in the same room as the twins and if I knew they were sexually active. However, Daizen has reassured me that they're still waiting.
"I mean, they can share the bed, but there needs to be an open-door policy," Pinky said. I trust them to make smart decisions, but they are still teenagers." I don't know if they know everything Daizen was going through last year, but if they do, I'm glad they're not bringing it up.
"Are you taking the baby?" Shitty Hair asked.
"Yeah," I replied before yelling for my kids to get back here. We have dinner plans with Deku in three hours, and I don't want to miss them.
"You sure you're going to be able to handle them all? A baby is a lot." I rolled my eyes at Pinky.
"I promise that I'm capable of caring for my kids," I snapped.
"Hey, that's not what she meant. You're only used to three kids, not five. She just didn't want you to be overwhelmed." He used his stern "don't talk to my wife that way" voice.
"Daizen and Reiji aren't children, but even so, Deku is also coming for the weekend. We'll be fine."
Pinky's eyes lit up. "Midoriya's going? How is he doing? Is he coming here?" She immediately began looking around, hoping to spot my fiancé.
"He's doing better. He's coming with us this weekend for some family time but is not ready for all of this." I motioned around us. "He just needs time."
