MIDORIYA'S POV
I stood beside Kacchan as he opened the door nervously. We were both hoping they wouldn't be there once the door was open, but they were.
"Hi," Kacchan said quietly. "Richard and Hannah?" He stuck his hand out. "Katsuki Bakugo." He shook both of their hands before motioning to me. "This is my fiancé, Izuku Midoriya."
They both studied me as I shook their hands. "Nice to meet you," I forced out, even if it wasn't. "Come in." Kacchan and I took a step back and let them into our home. Well, technically, it's still Kacchan's home. I haven't fully moved in yet. I've only gotten Aimi and Sayuri's rooms moved over.
"Where's Daizen?" Richard asked.
"He just got out of the shower," Kyo said as he and his brother walked downstairs. "He said he'll be down after he gets dressed and blow-dried his hair."
"These are our other sons," Kacchan said, pointing to the twins. "Kyo and Kaoru."
Hannah smiled. "It's nice to meet you both."
Kyo glared at her, but Kaoru stepped forward and said, "It's nice to meet you too."
"Dad?" Kacchan and I both turned our heads to Kyo. When he locked eyes with me, Kacchan turned his attention back to Richard and Hannah.
While he showed them to the living room, I stayed back with the twins. "What's up?" I asked.
"Can we go to Grandma's? We don't want to be here right now." I frowned because I also didn't want to be here. I want to run away to my mother's house too. "Please."
"Of course." I grabbed my phone and texted my mom, asking if she would be willing to come pick up the twins for the day. Since she knew what was happening and who was here, she didn't hesitate to say yes. After getting her confirmation, I told the boys to get ready.
After they were running upstairs, I went to the living room and sat beside the love of my life. "Sorry about that," I said.
"What's up?" Kacchan asked.
"They asked to go to Grandma's. My mom is coming to get them for a few hours," I explained. Richard and Hannah frowned, probably knowing the reason why they didn't want to be here. "What are we talking about?"
"We were talking about Rachel." I scrunched my nose. Even her name is enough to piss me off.
"She really asked you to buy off the kids?" Hannah asked with disgust. "I can't believe she blackmailed you with a paternity test. She knew the entire time and chose to keep it to herself."
Kacchan tensed. "Yeah. But I'm sure everything worked out for the best."
"Did it?" Richard asked. "It sounds like he's had a rough time with her. I mean, if I'd known... things would have been so different."
"How so?" Daizen asked as he walked into the room. "Would you have tried to stay with her? What about when you found out she was married? Would that have nailed the coffin shut between you and Hannah? Because I guarantee that it would have nailed the coffin shut between my mom and dad, and if that happened, I wouldn't have three siblings that I love to death."
Kacchan sighed. "Daizen, you could have started with "Hello.""
Daizen shrugged. "Not really my style. You know I hate small talk." He walks to the couch where Richard and Hannah are before sticking his hand out to Richard first. "I'm Daizen. Nice to meet you."
Richard didn't move. His eyes stayed focused on Daizen. Much like Kacchan and I did when we opened the door, he's probably noticing all the resemblances between them.
