BAKUGO'S POV

Six years later

Sitting with my husband, we relaxed into our chairs, watching Daizen swing and spin Reiji around the dance floor as Shitty Hair sat beside me.

"There's no getting rid of us now," he joked, nudging my shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah," I said. When Daizen proposed two years ago, it was no surprise to any of us. He's told us all that he was going to marry Reiji one day.

The biggest debate was whose last name they were going to take. They went back and forth for a while before they decided to keep their last names. Reiji has a little sister, but he's the last person alive to carry on the family name, which is why their kids one day will have the Kirishima name. Daizen wanted to keep his last name because he fought to be a Bakugo, and he didn't want to give it up, no matter how many times I assured him it would be okay.

"Where's Richard?" Shitty Hair asked.

"I'm not sure. Last I knew, he and Hannah were chasing their grandkids around."

"Oh, god, we're going to be grandparents soon," he replied with a shudder.

"Don't remind us," Deku groaned. "When did we get this old?"

"Hey," I defended, sitting up straight. "We're not that old."

"We just watched our twenty-three-year-old son get married, and in five months, we get to give our twenty-six-year-old daughter away. I guarantee we'll have grandkids on the way within the next two years," Deku pointed out. He's right, and I know that, but we still have two sixteen-year-olds, a seven-year-old daughter, and a five-year-old son. Grandkids don't sound right at the moment, considering we have two kids who are still so young.

"Hey, we're getting ready to head out for the night," Daizen said, suddenly appearing in front of us with his husband.

"Aimi's driving you, right?" They're not wasted, but they're well past buzzed, and they're not leaving unless they have a designated driver. I don't care how old they are.

"Yeah, we'll be fine. Our flight leaves tomorrow afternoon, and we'll call you as soon as it lands." I stood up and pulled Daizen in for a hug. "I love you, Dad."

"I love you too. And again, congratulations. I'm so happy for you and Reiji."

He pulled away from me and moved to Deku. "Don't forget to say goodbye to your brothers and sisters and Richard and them."

"I won't. Are you sure you guys are okay to clean up?" he asked, pulling away from Deku and turning to Shitty Hair, giving him a hug while Reiji hugged Deku and me.

"We've got it," Shitty Hair answered. "You two have a great honeymoon."

"Oh, I'm sure we will," Daizen teased, pulling his husband close to his side and sliding his fingers into his waistband.

"Alright, we get the gist," Deku said, shooing them away before they start ripping each other's clothes off.

"I'm going to grab the takeout containers and tell guests to grab what they want."

"Sounds good." The reception ended half an hour ago, but since the party was still going, most people were there. "If you want to start carrying their gifts out to the car, I'll go find the kids."

"Sure. Can you turn the lights on when you head out?"

I gently kissed his head. "Yeah. I'll meet you back inside after I gather the kids."

After using the restroom and turning off the lights, I headed out the back of the building. I immediately found the kids running around with Hannah and Richard's kids and grandkids.
