After the merge -Sneak attack-

They navigated the hallways, Sora leading the group. They had hardly been stopped yet. According to their map, they were just under the lab where Riyu was said to be in. 

"If we know anything from last time, Riyu should be in a small pet carrier shaped box, yellow and grey themes."

"Sounds easy enough to find." Wyldfire said. 

"Yeah, maybe if everything in here wasn't also grey and yellow..." Skylor muttered.

"This place is so boring looking, let me tell you, it was NOT fun being trapped in here." Wyldfire shook her head, walking fast to match Skylor's pace.

"You were trapped here?"

"Yeah, but I busted myself out." She shrugged. Lloyd decided not to fact check.

"Alright team. Let's get Riyu out of here." Arin nodded. Lloyd helped him up so he could peek out of a vent, to which he ducked.

"That's... not good."

"What? What's happening?" Lloyd asked.

"They're there! Rapton and the empress!" Arin whispered.

"Oh not Rapton." Skylor muttered. That weird guy.

"So what's the plan, we storm, em?" Kai suggested, already a fireball in his hand.

"Yeah!" Wyldfire agreed. "Storm em!"

"No! We need to catch them by surprise!" Skylor interjected.

"Yep! Stealth is the way to go!" Wyldfire added.

Lloyd considered both the ideas.

"I think Skylor may be right, let's go around, and get above the room."

They kept walking past the room, Kai walked up to Skylor and hit her shoulder with his as he walked by.

"Know-it-all." He scoffed

"Baby." She retorted.

"Yeah?" He said, turning around. "You called?"

"I meant you're being a child." She laughed, a little taken aback. She put her hand on his face and shoved past him, making him yell in surprise. He was such an idiot.

They reached past the room and Lloyd lifted Arin up again, getting him into the hall. They loaded them all up. They went one my one.

Kai purposely lifted everyone else up before Skylor.

Kai grabbed Skylor's arm and lifted her up.

"About time." She said.

"Careful, my hands are tired." He smiled, one of his hands her go.

"AAaah..!" She seethed. "Don't you dare let me drop."

"I wouldn't dream of it." He pulled her up.

She brushed herself up and glared at him. She was th first to get up to the ceiling. Then Arin, Sora, Wyldfire, Kai, And Lloyd. They were on a dark balcony over looking a pair of soldiers and the two imperiums. In the middle was the little dragon. They all shed their soldier disguises and planned.

And by planned, they mean having a 8 second conversation.

"Should we wait for them to leave?" Sora asked. "Or try right now?"

"I say we go right now!" Kai said, he jumped down into the room.

"Kai, no!" Skylor reached out. "Oh for-"

Wyldfire followed after Kai, Lloyd nodded and jumped down, followed by Arin. Sora jumped on Skylor's back and the two jumped down.

There were far more soldiers than they thought.

Can Kai not think with his fists for two minutes?
