Ohm's POV

Honestly, my life has been a mess since the end of 2022. It's now 2023, and I’m still facing the same hate I was getting before. It's not like I’m making excuses for my mistakes, but I’ve already faced the consequences. Yet, my own fans continue to hate me, which is hard to believe. Only my true fans have stuck by me. I know I made a mistake back then, but I was just a 12-year-old kid. I paid the price for it then, and I still am now. The hate for my bullying case was valid, but the hate I’m getting because of my fight with Nanon is just so illogical. People don’t even know what happened, yet they’re still hating me.

At the start of my bullying scandal, everyone wanted Nanon to ditch me. Now that he has, they want OhmNanon again, but I don’t want that. Why would I want a ship or friendship with someone who would leave me at my most vulnerable point? I’m done with OhmNanon. Thank God I got the series Wednesday Club—I honestly thought I wouldn’t get anything. And this series is a non-BL, which I think will help reduce some of the hate towards me. I’m still working on that, and P’tha bought me a new BL series. It’s not like I don’t love doing BL series, but I just can’t take any more hate. I’m seriously worried that if it doesn’t stop, I won’t be able to take it anymore.

But what can I do? I have to get back to my normal life. Everyone’s focusing on their careers, like music and acting, so I should do the same. After thinking it through, I came to the conclusion that if the script is good, I’ll accept it. And guess what? It’s an action series. There’s no way I’m rejecting this.

Conversation with P’tha

"Oh, P’tha! I’m doing this series. Can I get the script?"
"But normally, you read the script first and then decide whether to act, right?"
"Yeah, but this one is an action series, so I think I’ll do it. Just send the script, please."
"Sure, I’ll send it by this evening."
"Okay, bye."

That conversation kept playing in my mind. By evening, I got the script. It was great. My character was strong but gentle, just the kind of role I wanted. It’s not easy to act, but it’s definitely impressive. I went to sleep that night already thinking about the character of Min.

The next morning, P’tha called me.
"Hey, sorry for calling so early, but you wanted to change your manager, right?"
"Yeah, why am I getting a new manager?"
"Actually, the co-actor in your new series, Kidnap, also has a new manager. So we’re giving you the same one to help with promotions and scheduling. Is that okay?"
"Wait, who’s my co-actor, and when was he selected? I didn’t even know about this."
"Don’t worry about it too much. He’s a rookie actor. You’ll get to know him. By the way, your new manager is P’Yui."
"P’Yui? The ex-manager of FourthGemini?"
"Yeah, that’s the one. I’ll send you her number. Get in touch and figure out your schedule."
"Got it. Thanks."

I contacted P’Yui and made sure I had the schedule. After three days, I had to go to GMM for the casting. I just hoped my co-actor would be nice and wouldn’t turn out to be a betrayal.

Three Days Later

P’Yui called me again.
"Ohm, today you have to be there at 10:00 AM. Get ready and make sure to be on time—only one hour left, don’t forget."
"Yeah, I’m on my way."

I reached the building, not feeling nervous or confident—just blank. My mind was empty, and I wasn’t thinking about anything. I met the staff and got to know all the directors, managers, etc., but the main person was still hidden. Who was he? I asked my casting director,
"Who’s playing Q’s character?"
"Aa, his name is Leng. He’s sweet. He’ll be here soon, just wait a little longer."
"How does he look? Do you have a photo?"

Why did I even ask about Leng? With so many people named Leng, which one was this?
"Yeah, here’s his Insta ID."

I froze.
