As they waved to each other goodbye, they both drove home, each lost in their music.

Ohm's POV

While driving home, I reminded myself to message Leng first, so he wouldn’t worry about me. With that thought, I finally arrived home. As I walked in, I was greeted by our domestic monkey, Thai, who my parents have been raising for 21 years.

"Ugh, we named you Thai so you’d do something great with your life. But you’re always sleeping like a panda, 24/7. At least the panda’s cute, but you? You’re not even cute. Do you really think you’ll get a girlfriend? I’m not even sure," he grumbled.

Thai raised an eyebrow. "Done talking? Mr. Perfect, how was your event? Did you meet your friends? How was it with Leng? How did the trailer go? Was Leng happy, or was he nervous?"

I rolled my eyes. "You like him or what?"

"Me? No, I’m keeping him for you," Thai replied.

"What?!" I stared at him, wide-eyed.

"I mean, for the series," he clarified.

"Okay, whatever. I’m going to freshen up," I muttered, walking away.

"You didn’t tell me how it went," Thai called after me.

"It was nice," I answered briefly, before heading to my room to take a shower.

As the hot water cascaded over me, my mind wandered to Leng. I thought about how nervous he had been earlier, but how he calmed down so quickly—he was incredible. There was something about him, something hidden beneath the surface that intrigued me. What was it?

Once I was done and dressed, I remembered my promise to message Leng. I quickly grabbed my phone and sent him a text, and, as expected, he replied. His message made me smile. Today had been a good day, especially seeing how at ease Leng was around me. It gave me some peace of mind.

Feeling content, I opened Instagram and started uploading my photos.

As I was doing that, I heard someone calling me—none other than my mom. "Yeah, coming!" I replied, heading downstairs to discuss some family issues. Afterward, I returned to my room and collapsed onto my bed, ready to sleep. But before drifting off, I thought I'd check my Twitter to see how my family and fans were supporting me, now that I was back on track. But I guess that was a bad decision.

I opened the app and was met with the unexpected—hate comments. They weren’t proud of me at all. They were upset that I’d chosen to do a BL series, just because Nanon wasn’t in it. What about me? Do they not care about me? Am I that bad? Have I committed some unforgivable crime? Should I not move on with my life? Should I just cry over Nanon? What should I do?

Because of my past with bullying, they didn’t want me working with Nanon, but now that I’m working with Leng, they’re telling me to work with Nanon. How am I supposed to act? Should I just give up? The thoughts were overwhelming, and just as I was sinking deeper into them, my phone buzzed—Leng was calling.

"Yeah?" I answered, trying to keep my voice steady.

"Are you crying?" he asked, concern lacing his voice.

I hadn’t even realized I’d started crying while reading the comments. "No, not really—just a cold, that's it. What’s up? Why did you call?"

Leng’s voice softened. "How much longer are you going to hide it? Just tell me how much, and from whom? Stop treating yourself like this. You know you're the one hurting yourself by crying. They don't deserve your tears. You should cry for the people who respect you and love you, no matter the circumstances. Don’t give attention to those hate comments, okay?"

"Yeah," I whispered, my heart feeling a little lighter.

"Wait," Leng said. "Let me video call you."

"Leng, no, seriously, I’m fine," I protested, but I knew how stubborn he was.

He didn’t listen to me, though. I finally understood what Moonon had been talking about. And just then, Leng video-called me.

"Now, stop crying and get some sleep. Don’t touch your phone. I know it’s complicated, but you know my Ohm can do anything in this world. He’s the best actor."

As he spoke, I got stuck on the words ‘my Ohm.’ I hoped that someday, he’d call me that. I was lost in the thought when Leng’s voice suddenly snapped me out of my trance, raising the volume of his voice on the phone. Thai walked into my room, and I quickly shushed him, talking to Leng before ending the call.

"What?" I asked, turning to face Thai.

"For the first time in years, you're roasting me after such a breakdown. Usually, you wouldn’t even talk for hours after crying," he said, raising an eyebrow.

Yeah, he was right. It normally took hours for me to recover, but the way Leng called me and used those words was different. It wasn’t like they were magic words or anything, but the boy who had been so uncomfortable just hours ago was now calling me his Ohm. It was just fascinating.

"Ohhh, so all these years our words were useless, but Leng's words are fascinating? Wow," Thai teased, a grin on his face.

"How did you know I said it was fascinating?" I asked, surprised.

"It’s written all over your face. By the way, were those words really that fascinating? Oh, now I understand why you didn’t sleep those nights, but tonight, I’m guessing you’ll sleep well, huh? In his memories?"

"Get out of my room in 3... 2..." I counted down, glaring at him.

"Okay, okay, I get it! He can only come in this room, I understand," Thai quickly responded.

"Before I kick you out, hide your face fast," I added with a smirk.

I was lost in thought, reflecting on everything that had happened. It felt so different now, much better than before. Was it because of Leng? I picked up my phone to check the messages from P'Force. It was about how Leng had also received hate comments, and I was shocked. How was he connected to all this? Why were people hating him for no reason? And how was he going to deal with it?

Thankfully, the hate comments about him were minimal. Since no one really knew him or his background, I felt a little relieved. At least someone as innocent as him shouldn’t have to face this on his debut. But what amazed me most was his positive attitude. He called me, and with those words, he made me think positively again.

With those thoughts, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
