Leng was the kind of person who would stay at the beach for as long as you told him to. After all, the beach was his second home. No one loved it more than he did. Today, as always, Leng visited the beach and shared an Insta post, which Ohm liked almost instantly.

This small interaction sparked more casual conversations between them. They started spending more time together—cafes, parties, sports matches, and even clubbing—until, in just a few days, they became quite close.

Three weeks later, in the last week of August, both received a call from Yui. "P'tha and the director have called you for the trailer shoot next week, so be ready." With that, things started to get more serious, and their bond grew naturally.

By the end of August, they were called in to discuss the trailer and their roles. The first week of September saw them completing the trailer, and as they were heading home, Leng stopped Ohm.

"I want to treat you to something, for all you've done for me today," Leng said.

Ohm smiled, "Please, Leng, don't say it like that. We're friends, and I didn't do anything great."

"But you taught me a lot today. If it weren’t for you, I would have been miserable," Leng replied.

"Stop, you're not miserable. You have so much potential. Just stop thinking negatively, okay?" Ohm encouraged him.

Leng nodded. "Yeah, let's go. I’ll book a table at Florencia. Are you okay with that?"

"Wait, why? Can't we go to your place and eat? It’ll be more convenient and comfortable," Ohm suggested.

Leng shook his head. "How can we eat at home? It's our first time hanging out like this. Let's eat out, it'll be nicer."

"Oh, come on, Leng. If we eat at your place, we won't be seen. Eating out might attract attention before the trailer release. The date's still far off, so let's eat at your place, alright?" Ohm urged, dragging Leng to his house.

They ended up at Leng's place, where they ate and talked for nearly two hours. The conversation flowed easily, and they became more comfortable around each other. They enjoyed each other’s company, their personalities meshing well. It felt like destiny—like they were meant to reconnect after ten years.

As they continued chatting and joking around, Ohm stood up to leave. Leng hesitated for a moment before calling out.

"Wait, Ohm. I made excuses earlier, but honestly, I was just hesitant. From now on, come over anytime. Think of this as your home."

"Oh, for sure," Ohm grinned. "I’ll leave now, but I’ll miss you."

And just like that, their teasing began again.

Their friendship had gone through so many phases—formal at first, then informal, with plenty of playful teasing in between. Despite the ten-year gap, their bond only grew stronger as time passed. As the editing for Kidnap was completed, the release date of October 17th loomed closer, signaling the next chapter in their story.

Hope you like it! 🙏
